At first glance, this shadow on the wall will seem to most people just a shadow from a tree. Moreover, the real shadow from the tree is on the wall next door.

However, if you take a closer look, the shadow looks very human-like and looks like a man in a headdress and with a long object in his hand.

This photo, along with other images, was taken in the 1920s by British photographer Edward Hillsworth. The photographs were kept for many years by an unnamed family who recently put the album up for auction for sale.

The pictures were taken somewhere in the southern British counties and this picture shows a little girl sitting near her home.

As the photographer himself wrote in his diary, he noticed a strange shadow on the building immediately when he printed the pictures. In his opinion, the shadow is very similar to a British soldier during the First World War with a gun in his hand.

When he showed this picture to the owners of this house, two young women, they were shocked. It turns out they recognized this soldier, according to them it is Jock McKee, who was friends with them when his regiment was stationed nearby.

In 1915, McKee was sent to Gallipoli, where he was soon killed in action.

Hillsworth described in detail how the women reacted when they saw this mystical picture:

In total, the archive of this photographer turned out to be about 500 photographs of the 1920-1930s, but apart from one picture, all the rest were without any mysticism.
