In the history of the twentieth century, there were several sensational, but at the same time, secret operations that shook the world. One of these operations was called Majestic 12. It all started in 1947.

On June 24, in the United States, a civilian pilot flying in the Cascade Mountains (Washington state) saw nine disc-shaped vehicles flying in formation at high speed. Although this was not the first sighting of such objects to gain prominence, the event was the first sign of widespread publicity. Following the report of nine devices of unearthly design, hundreds of reports of the observation of such objects followed. Many of them came from highly reliable military and civilian sources. These messages were analyzed by several US military departments independently of each other in order to reveal the true information about these objects from the standpoint of national defense interests. A large number of witnesses were interviewed and several unsuccessful attempts were made to use aircraft to chase discs in flight.because discs (or "cymbals") continued to appear with depressing regularity. The reaction of the population to these actions sometimes bordered on hysteria.

However, despite tremendous efforts, progress in the study of the essence of these objects has been negligible. And then information came from a local farmer. He reported that a disk crashed in a remote area of New Mexico, near the Roswell military base.

Covert Operation Majestic 12 began on July 7, 1947. Its essence consisted in the discovery and scientific study of the fragments of an incomprehensible disk. During the operation, American aerial reconnaissance also discovered four humanoid creatures of small stature, which, apparently, were ejected from the apparatus before its explosion. They were found about two miles east of the disc's impact site. All creatures were dead and in a terrible state, as before discovery, they were "prey" for rodents and microorganisms for almost a week.

What remained of the bodies and the apparatus was taken away for study by a special scientific group. A nondisclosure agreement was taken from civilian and military witnesses, and a message was launched in the media for ordinary people that the object had lost control of the hydrometeorological research probe.

A detailed study of the four bodies was performed by Dr. Bronk's group. From the preliminary conclusion of this group, dated November 30, 1947, it follows that although the appearance of the deceased is human-like, the biological and evolutionary processes differ significantly from the processes that ensure human life. Therefore, the temporary term "Extraterrestrial biological creature" (EBS) was introduced to denote these creatures. Temporary - because it meant its further refinement at subsequent stages of the study of bodies.

According to preliminary analyzes by General Twining and Dr. Bush, the disk most closely resembles a small reconnaissance vehicle. This conclusion was formulated on the basis of the correspondence between the size of the apparatus and the size of the reconnaissance aircraft and with the apparent absence of any reserves on board. One thing was unambiguously clear: the apparatus is clearly extraterrestrial in origin, in no country in the world there are such technologies that would make it possible to build something similar.

The main question is the question of the origin of the star-sailors and how they ended up on Earth. Researchers assumed they were from Mars, although some scientists, notably Dr. Donald Menzel, believed they were most likely to come from another solar system. On some of the fragments, inscriptions like hieroglyphs were found, which could not be deciphered. Also unsuccessful were attempts to unravel the principle of object movements and the principle of operation of engines. The research was complicated by the fact that the engines were destroyed by an explosion that caused an accident.

The work on the study of the wrecked alien spacecraft had different names in different divisions: "Sign", "Anger", "Blue Book", but for simplicity we will use the general name - "Majestic-12". The same name was given to a top-secret group of twelve people involved in coordinating the study of UFOs in general. These were leading scientists and prominent military leaders, including Rear Admiral Sidney Sears, the first director of the General Directorate of Military Intelligence, General Nathan Twining, Air Force Logistics Commander, Dr. Vannevar Bush, Chairman of the Joint Research and Development Committee), and General Hoyt Vanderberg, Air Force Chief of Staff.

The research took a long time, and in 1950, scientists received a second "gift": on November 6, at El Indio Guerrero near the US border with Mexico, a second object, probably similar to the first, crashed. It crashed into the ground at high speed after moving along a long trajectory in the atmosphere. The movement was observed from the ground, and immediately after the accident, a search team was sent to the crash site, which found the remains of an almost completely burnt object. Samples from the crash site were rushed to Sandia, New Mexico for testing.

Fundamental to national security was the fact that the goals and objectives of the guests from Space were completely unknown and incomprehensible. In addition, observations showed that the activity of unidentified objects began in May 1950 and continued throughout the fall, and therefore it is likely that the second visit will not be the last. Therefore, the program has received a new level of secrecy - to avoid panic among the population.

Where did the details of the operation come from? On December 11, 1984, television producer Jaime Schandera received a carefully wrapped envelope containing undeveloped 35mm film. On it, as it turned out, several pages of top-secret documents known as "Majestic-12" were captured. These documents mentioned prominent scientists and military personnel who studied captured flying saucers and aliens. The letter was without a return address, it also outlined all of the above events, as well as a document signed by Truman, in which the president gives "valuable instructions" about the secrecy of the operation. The question immediately arose: is this a genuine document or another fake? The seals and signatures on the documents are real, but the supporters of the version that the document is a fake give the following argument:a person cannot sign twice in exactly the same way, and Truman's signature on the received document is like two peas in a pod similar to the signature in one of the documents openly stored in the Library of Congress. Supporters of the version that the document is genuine claim that no one has verified that document from the library for authenticity, so it is still unknown where the fake signature is, and where the real one.

But there was one more doubt: the descriptions of the accident in the letter are somewhat different from what the witnesses of the fall say. So where is the truth? By the way, there is information that up to four flying discs have crashed in that area. I wonder what was so interesting for them? And why did everyone crash?

The letter story did not end there. At the end of 1986, reporters received a packet of documents from a man who identified himself as John and served in the British army. John said he had been instructed to hand them over by his commander. There were six messages with a total length of 600 pages. During the conversation, a number of names and codes were mentioned, which later coincided with the data from the documents of the Majestic-12 group. The documents contained the results of biological analysis of the bodies of aliens recovered from their crashed ships. This report was dated 1948, and another folder, dating back to October 1977 (!), Was titled “Elimination of Non-Military Sources of Information”.

By the end of the century, the US authorities did everything to extinguish rumors of the Roswell incident. Nevertheless, in 1996 the investigation was reopened. This investigation was ordered in connection with the clandestine appearance of the film, which was called succinctly and very specifically: "Alien Autopsy". The film showed how an autopsy was performed on one of the aliens. It was, strictly speaking, not a film, but a documentary filming of the autopsy. In 1995, Ray Santilli, a London music film journalist, released a film he called Alien Autopsy: fact or fiction. He made a strong impression, and there is still debate about whether it is possible to believe that first film and what exactly is shown in it. Films in Russian - neither one nor the other - were not shown in full, only excerpts included in other documentaries were shown, therefore we will give a short retelling. Ray Santilli's film is in two parts; the first contains the history of the first film, as well as a brief description of the Roswell incident, while the second presents the very sensational footage that Ray Santilli was able to find. It shows an autopsy of a strange humanoid creature by a group of surgeons or pathologists.

In the film, Roswell is said to be a military airfield, the base of Elite Squadron # 509. It was from here that the plane that bombed Hiroshima took off. When the disk crashed, it ended up in the hands of the military, who shipped it to Ohio for study. The film shows witnesses who were somehow connected with the base in Ohio and with Roswell.

The presenter drew the audience's attention to the metal plates, which were clearly designed for creatures with six fingers. It was supposed to be something like a control device. The aliens put their hands in special recesses corresponding to a six-fingered hand, and thus could control their spacecraft. Maybe a thought process, maybe some other.

It was also told about Kevin Randall, who wrote a book about the Roswell incident. He claims that there are many more people involved in the investigation than you might imagine - about fifty people, at least with so many people he managed to talk to. There is information that in order to prevent rumors of the accident from spreading, it was decided to burn the remains of the ship, but they did not burn. Then they decided to cut it with an autogenous - just to no avail. The wreck of the ship was made of some unusually light metal. It is simply unrealistic to produce this using earthly technologies.

Kevin Randall said that the military put a lot of pressure on eyewitnesses, forcing them to remain silent about what they saw. "You will be killed if you tell anyone," the military told eyewitnesses. They announced that they already had the flying saucer so that no one would look for it.

Another witness is the daughter of one of the officers, Frankie Rose. She said that her father immediately after the incident told her that in addition to two dead bodies, one living was found. That is, three, not four - as stated in other sources. This creature looked like a small ten-year-old child with pink skin and gray spots on it. The face is triangular, and the eyes are very large with an unusual cut. And six fingers on each hand. Where it went is unknown, and whether the alien survived is also unknown. But the body that was dissected in the film was not at all disfigured by decay and rodents, so chances are that it was the body of the one that was found alive. Whether he was killed or he died himself - will remain a mystery.

Around the first film, a huge number of conversations immediately arose that the autopsy shots were not real, that Hollywood had a hand in them, the master had not yet such effects. But Ray Santilli believes that it was the alien autopsy that was shown in the Alien Autopsy. Curious how he found this movie. One day when Ray was collecting footage of rock and roll bands from the 50s, an elderly American told him, "By the way, I have some more footage." When Ray watched them, his first thought was that the filming was not real. The black-and-white footage, taken without sound and clearly not from a tripod, showed the process of autopsy of a humanoid creature. The man who brought the tape turned out to be a former military cameraman. He said that in 1947 he was called to Roswell, and it was there that he filmed this autopsy. The operator said, that he had problems developing one of the rolls of film, so he had to process it differently, and this roll remained with him and was not transported to Ohio like everyone else. He had previously tried to give it to someone who would be interested in finding out the truth, but could not find anyone. The film was in a metal box - the same as the rest.

The operator also told that he personally saw how the alien "saucer" fell. But where it came from and where it went later - he does not know. The name of this cameraman is Roderick Ryan.

The authenticity of the film was checked in various ways, including by analyzing the objects in the frame: did they exist in 1947? Attention was drawn to the clock on the wall by General Electric, which entered service in 1940. Bell telephone number 1937. Yes, the items correspond to the era, but who said that they could not be purchased later and removed on film imitating 1947? Maybe the Kodak film itself will tell you? Can you tell when it was created? For this they invited an expert, Lawrence Keith, who had worked for Eastman Kodak for sixteen years. Keith said the company provided geometric designations for all films based on the year they were produced. Judging by the film presented, it can be assumed that it was produced in 1927, 1947 or 1967. Here is such a vague examination … The main thing is that in 1947 this film could still be produced.

When the film was more or less sorted out, we decided to investigate the film itself - was it not fabricated later and was it passed off as a film of the 40s? To do this, an expert Paul Shershey, senior curator of the Eastman Kodak darkroom in Rochester, New York, was invited. Shershi stated unequivocally that the film could have been shot between the late 40s and early 50s. “When people ask me if it is possible to fabricate a film, I say no,” Shershi said. - It is very difficult to fabricate a real film. This requires technical knowledge and special equipment. This is a very expensive operation."

Alan Davio, one of Hollywood's most famous cameramen, believed the opposite was true: the film was fake. The main argument was that the operator does not focus the image. In his opinion, he did it on purpose. After all, if it is a military operator, he must focus well. Ron Maguire, who worked as a military operator in the 40s, strongly disagreed with him. He believed that the loss of focus comes from the camera on which the film was shot. The cameras used by military operators at the time were mainly Bell & Howell cameras, and they had poor focus.

Allan Davio made other arguments as well: bad angles. Sometimes there is nothing in the frame except the doctor's back. The operator is constantly on the move, but the viewer still doesn't see anything. According to Davio, he was filming a layman.

Ron Maguire believed that the operator was moving all the time so as not to interfere with the surgeons, who were also moving all the time. And guessing where they will go again is quite difficult. And in general, the task of a military operator is only to record events, and not to think about the beauty of the frame. In his opinion, it was a good camera job.

Roderick Ryan confirmed that he was actually trying not to interfere with the surgeons, and the camera was very heavy and the surgeons shouldn't have been distracted by it. And it was actually a Bell & Howell camera.

Paul Shershey also believed that the filming was authentic: “What we see gives the impression that everything was for real. And the body is like a real body. I think this is a unique film."

Yes, the question of whether the alien's body was a real body or just a dummy was very acute. In order to find out, Ray Santilli showed the tape to two of the world's leading pathologists.

Cyril Watcht, who performed at least forty thousand autopsies, believed that this was not a man, but not a dummy either. S. M. Milroy, a pathologist at the University of Sheffield in England, believed that anatomically this creature only slightly resembles a person. Yes, and six fingers and toes is not normal, it does not happen in a person. But the disease is known polydactyly - multiple fingers, which is a genetic abnormality. It is very rare but occurs. It is also noteworthy that the creature does not show any sexual characteristics. Perhaps it is a female creature? But there are no secondary female sexual characteristics here either. Like a woman with Taurus syndrome. It occurs in about one woman in forty thousand. It is difficult to find a corpse of a person who would have so many abnormalities at once - including an unusual head, huge eyes and small stature.

Both experts came to the unequivocal conclusion that the autopsy was clearly not done by actors, but by professionals, if not pathologists, then surgeons who often performed autopsies. The people filmed in the film clearly knew what and how to do. As for the toolkit, it also corresponds to the era. For example, a rectangular tray containing tools has been around for a very long time. Such things are hard to come across now.

True, S. M. Milroy had a question: if this is really an alien, then why did they spend only two hours there? Perhaps the autopsy should have been done over a period of weeks, months, or even years if it was a real alien. But who knows how much time the military allocated to the doctors?

Another doubt: why is the body so well preserved? If the alien died when the flying saucer collided with the ground, then the body must be much more disfigured. This alien has only one thigh mutilated. Maybe this is not a consequence of an accident, but a radiation experiment that failed? This at least explains why the attackers wear protective suits. Moreover, Roswell, where the body was found, is located next to a secret nuclear test site. Maybe this is actually the alien who was still alive when they found him?

The internal structure, which was clearly visible in the film, clearly did not correspond to the human one. The liver is not visible, instead of it there is some indefinite mass. The brain removed from the cranium is also completely unlike human. Neither in color, or rather in tone - the film is black and white, nor in outlines. Cyril Wacht stated quite clearly: “This is not a human being. But what is it? I could say that it is a humanoid. I cannot say whether it is an alien or not, but the fact that he is not a human is for sure. Whether he came from another planet - I don't know, but this is not a member of the human race, like you and me. Of course, it is difficult to prove that this body is made of flesh and blood - perhaps it is a creature created by man. But why does blood come from the mannequin?"

To determine if this was a cinematic stunt, they turned to Stan Winston, the man who created the dinosaurs and other creatures in the movie Jurassic Park. On the screen, they were as if they were alive.

“My first reaction when I saw this footage,” admitted Stan Winston, “was the following: no, this is not real, this is a body that someone has artificially created. But then the autopsy began. They opened the body, cut it open - and you know how difficult it is for us masters of special effects to really simulate eyes, skin … If it really wasn't real, I would be very proud if I could create such an image on the screen. The skin looks quite organic, it looks very dry, inside everything is damp - almost everywhere. We would never do that. It's too hard."

Yes, in modern cinema, experts admitted, you can use materials such as silicone, which gives amazing effects, but if everything else is real and the film was actually made a long time ago, then there was no silicone. And now there is practically no access to silicone materials, it exists only for expensive Hollywood action movies, while others pay crazy money. Is this movie worth the money? What was the purpose of its creators if it is a fake?

Talking about Operation Majestic 12 and the film by Ray Santilli, it is impossible not to mention another film, Alien Autopsy, which was filmed in Germany in 2006. The essence of the story told in the film is as follows: 1995, two friends travel to San Diego, one of them meets some strange old man who allegedly filmed an autopsy on an alien in 1947. Friends buy the film for some dangerous gangster's money, but because of the heat, the film melted. To justify the gangster's expectations and the money spent and not to get into trouble, the friends decide to repeat everything that was on the old man's tape. They make decorations, create an alien, shoot with an old camera. Then they decide to earn extra money from their lies, and as a result they become world famous people. Although the glory turned out to be one of the most false and deceitful. The film is shot in the style of the narration of the characters themselves, who ten years later tell their amazing story to the documentary filmmaker.

Someone regarded the film as a cool joke, as a rally of the century, but someone believed that in fact the story was exactly this: the 1947 film was falsification. And for what reasons it was made - was it really "the film melted" and it was necessary to recreate the actual original, or the fake was originally created - in 1947 or later - the viewer will no longer understand. Like a classic: either you stole it, or it was stolen from you, the reputation is ruined anyway. The main thing is to convey to the minds of the masses in any way: the film is a fake. Which was done safely.

The question only arises: those people, the heroes of the film by Ray Santilli, experts, operators, pathologists - were they all blind fools? Couldn't tell the real shooting from the inept stylization of some two young mischief-makers? Most likely, this is due to the continuing veil of secrecy that the world powers continue to keep over all known cases of visiting our planet by guests from Space.
