Sergey Andryushin, 49, a timber industry worker in the Vostochny settlement, disappeared a month ago. And only the other day he was found - dead. And even then by accident. According to his relatives, Sergei Andryushin was on good terms with the forest and could not get lost.
Prosecutors believe it was one hundred percent suicide. But the question arises - what are the reasons? It is still unclear why Sergey Andryushin (who, according to his relatives, felt at home in the forest and was a very experienced person) came across a power line, but did not follow it to the nearest housing? In addition, there was an oil pipeline next to the power line. Relying on this clear reference point, one could get to the nearest village, which, by a bitter irony of fate, bears a consonant name with the surname of the deceased - Andryushino …
But the confused leshoz worker chose to die. Experts who examined his body concluded that before his death, the man ate grass and was generally very emaciated. So, probably, (so the investigators believe) Andryushin was overcome by despair. And he realized that he would no longer live up to housing, so he decided to interrupt his hunger torment. And he tied his body at a height so that hungry animals would not gnaw it.
Even if this is so, it is still not clear: how could Sergei Andryushin get lost? A month ago, together with seven other volunteers like him, he flew by helicopter to the area of the village of Chary - to extinguish a forest fire. On the night of 27 August, a team of foresters set up camp. Discussing how they will fight the fire element tomorrow, the men drank a little. And then Andryushin got up and went into the thicket, not responding to the shouts of his comrades. A few days later, the partners who went in search of Sergei, found only his sleeping bag. He was neatly hung on a pine branch (see "A volunteer was lost in the forests in the north of the Urals during the fight against fires").
One gets the impression that Andryushin, who knew the forest well, thanks to which he did not get into the hearth of conflagrations that clouded his mind. But, of course, it is now impossible to confirm or refute this conjecture.
