According to V. Prokhorov from Yaroslavl, his friend Andrei, who lives in Kostroma, experienced an incredible experience in the winter of 1992.
Andrey was returning home in his own car in the evening. He was driving on a road running through the fields. All around, as far as the eye could see, there was only snow and a clear sky. No power lines, no telegraph poles - nothing. The motor, as always, worked smoothly, the instruments on the dashboard were shining.
And suddenly the car for no reason jerked and stood rooted to the spot. In the same second, all the dials on the shield went out. There was a deathly silence. Surprised Andrey got out of the car and examined the car. I did not notice anything special. Then he opened the hood.
Andrei does not claim that at that moment the hair stood on end on his head, but a condition close to panic prostration swept over him. For he saw - in the car engine it is not known how and where all the wires from the ignition distributor to the spark plugs disappeared. They did not burn, did not melt, but disappeared! Moreover, all the candles disappeared along with them! As if they weren't there. Even the porcelain insulators "evaporated" somewhere. Fresh holes with melted threads gaped in the block.
And the general view of the motor was as if it had been hit with a blacksmith's hammer. Not a single experienced motorist will confirm that this kind of damage is possible. Even after a catastrophe associated with fire and explosion, porcelain insulators would remain one hundred percent intact.
Shocked by what he saw, the car owner opened the door and sat down, discouraged, in the front seat. Now he no longer remembers exactly how long he sat in the car with his eyes closed. Suddenly he felt that the air in the cockpit began to slowly warm up. And this - with a stalled engine, on a cold winter evening!
Opening his eyes, Andrei looked around the salon.
A faint glow emanating from somewhere behind his back caught his attention. He turned sharply and saw that through the rear window into the salon some kind of plasma substance began to creep in, be drawn in, sucked in - something like a "dense cloud of energy". Having rolled over the back of the front seat, a bundle of mysterious energy "sat down" to the right of the driver. And almost immediately transformed into a human translucent figure.

With a wild cry, Andrei jumped out of the car, which had already become quite hot, almost overheated, and rushed across the field aimlessly. Having run about fifty meters, he could not resist and looked around. His car was slightly illuminated from the inside. Behind the glass, a ghostly light pulsed, iridescently iridescent.
As if bewitched, Andrey looked at the car. Then he walked away from her with a quick step.
He walked to his home on the very outskirts of the city. His wife stared at him anxiously as soon as the man entered the house.
“Andrei had such a face,” she later said, “as if he had been to the underworld.
Andrey was silent for a long time … Then he got up, dressed and went to the workshop located nearby. He managed to persuade some chauffeur who was late at work to go with him, take the disfigured Moskvich in tow. In order not to frighten the driver, he did not tell him anything about the nature of the breakdown.
Soon they arrived at the place where a passenger car stood alone in the snow-covered steppe. While the driver was busy with the cable, Andrei carefully opened the front door of his Moskvich and, after a moment's hesitation, climbed into the cab. It was very cold in the cabin. The luminous translucent ghost disappeared from the car, no one knows where.

- Before my visit to Andrei, which followed a few days after this incident, the owner of the car did not look into his garage … We went there together. On the way, he told me about this wild adventure. We opened the hood and I gasped. The impression was as if the engine had been struck from above by something incredibly heavy. The engine was partially crumpled. And there are no high-voltage wires. The spark plug inlets in the cylinders are heavily melted and completely threaded.
