In 2008, in Norway, on the island of Spitsbergen, the so-called World Seed Vault (Svalbard Globale frøhvelv) was opened with great worldwide fanfare - a tunnel dug at a depth of 130 meters, where samples of seeds of major crops are safely stored.
As far as conspiracy theorists suspect, there are many such projects in the world, but not all of them are advertised. However, in the same place, on Svalbard, a few hundred meters from the aforementioned storage facility, there is another semi-secret facility.
The object is called the Arctic World Archive, the name of which is possibly a reference to the name Eve, which more accurately sounds Ava (AWA, Arctic World Archive).
The archive is located in an old coal mine at a depth of 300 meters, and the data itself is stored on a special film, the service life of which under the right conditions is more than 1,000 years, and when stored outdoors - at least 500 years.
The data storage system there is different, including binary code, but the developers have introduced a strict restriction on the size of characters - the code must be read under a magnifying glass. That is, it is assumed that when people descend on Svalbard from the nuclear ashes, someone will have a magnifying glass in their pocket.

The archive was officially launched in 2017 and its first clients were the governments of Norway, Brazil and Mexico. In particular, Mexico deposited copies of its constitution, declaration of independence and other historically significant documents, and the National Archives of Brazil deposited an archival copy of the law abolishing slavery in the country, as well as copies of historical constitutions and historical photographs of the capital.
If Mexico had deposited its original constitution, it would undoubtedly be a valuable boon for the survivalists - there are many uses for paper. But what they will do in a film copy of this important paper of the glorious Latin American country, we do not even know, but, probably, the Mexicans know it better.
The press did not pay much attention to the opening of AWA, and even more so to its clients, however, as reported on their website, the Vatican transferred copies of some archives there, as well as other valuable sources of information from other places moved 300 meters underground.
And so, as futurism.com reports on November 14, Microsoft has made a special post-apocalyptic open source system, which it has recorded on tape and also archived in Svalbard.
Almost all important software that exists today was also sent there, the code of which was also, as it were, opened for posterity - so that with only a magnifying glass and a flashlight in their hands, people would not experience any difficulties with cracks.

In addition, we do not even have any doubts that both the global government and individual states have been doing this kind of bookmarking of information archives at least since the invention of the atomic bomb - and no one is fumbling about it at all angles.
