A giant sloth?
“About 9 years ago, I came face to face with a large unusual animal in San Jose, California. I didn't tell anyone about this, only my closest friends.
My friend washed in the bathroom that evening, and I played with his cat. Then I went into the living room, which had a glass door leading to the backyard, and suddenly I saw an unusual animal in the backyard.
At first I noticed the sparkle of his eyes in the dark, and then the outlines of his body became visible. It was almost 2 meters high and sat hunched over on short hind legs, and its front legs ended in long claws.
This animal was looking directly at me through the glass door and so I screamed loudly, and it stood on its hind legs and slowly went somewhere. When it disappeared, I ran to my boyfriend and told him about it.
To be honest, at first I thought it was a giant raccoon. This place is full of raccoons and my aunt bumps into them all the time, feeding the street cats. Raccoons love to climb trash cans and are adept at pulling off the lid. This strange animal also stood where the trash can was.
I didn’t tell anyone about this incident, not even my aunt, thinking that she would think I was crazy, and tried to forget about it. But a few months ago I remembered this again and it began to torment me.

Before, I had never even heard of cryptids or knew the word, and also never believed in Yeti. But when I started looking on the Internet for an animal similar in description to what I saw, I came across a description of a giant extinct sloth. It was closest to what I saw."
Muzzle in the backyard

“When I was a child, I slept in a room overlooking the backyard, beyond which the forest was already beginning, and my bed was right by the window. That way, when I sat on the bed, I could look out the window to see what was happening in the backyard. And as a rule, I left the window ajar, although my father often scolded me for this.
One night I woke up with the feeling that someone was looking at me. I immediately looked out the window, where the moon well illuminated the entire courtyard. I was so terrified of the feeling that I even felt nauseous. I have never felt the same as that night.
And then I saw this animal, or rather, it was something that only slightly resembled an animal. It was deep black and did not move, but sat. He had 4 legs and 2 pointed ears on his head, and his face resembled that of a man or a monkey. It did not look directly at me, but I felt that it was it that scared me and that it knew that I had seen it.
I went to bed, but then I looked out the window again and immediately met the eyes of this creature, which this time was looking directly at me! I immediately closed the window and lowered the blinds.
I barely fell asleep that night, but strangely enough, I wanted to see this creature again. Then many times I woke up at night and looked out the window at the courtyard and towards the forest. I also asked the sisters if they saw anything outside at night, but they said that they never looked outside the window at night.
Nowadays the forest is no longer there, a railway was built there."

Santa's dog
“On Christmas Eve I saw Santa's dog. Just kidding. But seriously, that day I helped dad prepare a gift for mom. I was 12 years old and our task was to sneak it into the house and leave it under the tree when my mother went to bed.
It was half past ten in the evening when my dad and I brought the gift, and then I returned to the street to close our truck. It was a beautiful bright night with a bright moon and snow was falling thickly.
When I approached the car and glanced at the road, I froze as if rooted to the spot. There was the biggest dog I have ever seen in my life. I thought that this was one of those Russian shepherd dogs that protect sheep from wolves (apparently it meant the Caucasian Shepherd Dog) and then froze to the spot, already considering himself dead.
But the dog didn't move, it just sat and looked at me. And he was completely white, incredibly white, I will never forget his coat.
Then dad came out, apparently concerned about where I had disappeared, and he also saw this huge dog and also froze in place. This continued for about 20 more seconds, during which I looked at the dog and saw a red collar with bells on its neck. Just like Santa's reindeer harness.
Then my father broke down and went to me and as soon as I turned away from the dog for a second and paid attention to my father, the dog disappeared without a trace. Without a trace in the literal sense. Then my father and I looked around and there were no dog tracks anywhere! But fresh soft snow was falling and any traces on it would be clearly visible."
Tiger man

“At the time, I was working as a security guard in a detention center at a place called Weipa. It is in the midst of vast woodlands that stretch in all directions for miles and miles.
In total, there were four security posts at the fence line and I was at the third post. To understand how serious this place is, I will say that seven Lebanese prisoners escaped from here 3 months before my arrival.
So, I was at my post and it was 3 am. I watched a kookabara bird dive down from a tree to collect insects in the grass, and then suddenly I heard a crackling in the thickets. From this sound all the local kookabaras were alarmed and began to shout loudly.
I ran outside and found myself on the lawn where the kookabara was sitting recently. But now there was a very tall, two-legged creature standing on it, most of all like a big cat. In the dark, I did not see the features of her face, but in shape she was like that of a large cat like a tiger.
The creature looked intimidating and powerful. It could inflict dangerous wounds on a person. But it turned back and disappeared again into the dark thickets, and I stood and rejoiced that there was a strong and high fence between me and this creature."
