32-year-old Irishman Michael Sheridan only recently was able to smile again without fear of shocking those around him with his toothless mouth filled with the decaying remains of his teeth.
For over a decade, Sheridan lived without visits to the dentist, while consuming huge amounts of sugary soda.
He could drink up to 6 liters of Coca-Cola, Pepsi, or other fizzy drink per day.
When his teeth began to crumble and ache, Sheridan was unable to chew dense food and was forced to eat only soft food, which further exacerbated the rotting of his teeth. The toothache also worsened, and because of it Sheridan sometimes could not sleep at night.

The man's addiction to soda was akin to drug addiction. According to Sheridan, if he didn’t drink even a bottle every few hours, he would start shaking and his head hurt. At the same time, he says that he did not understand that the problem with his teeth was caused precisely by soda, and also stubbornly did not go to the dentist.

When all of Sheridan's teeth were left with only rotten hemp, he began to hesitate to smile and was afraid to show his teeth even to his family - his wife and three children.

Most likely, Sheridan would have suffered for a very long time without teeth and from pain if he was incredibly unlucky. More than a year ago, Michael Sheridan met a dentist in the pool, who saw his problematic mouth and offered to replace all his teeth with removable dentures for free (!).

But because of his fears of dentists, Sheridan gathered courage for almost a year and gave his consent only in November last year. The procedure was scheduled for January 2018. One day, the dentist at a time tore out the remains of Sheridan's 27 teeth and put on new beautiful dentures. Such an operation usually costs 50 thousand euros.

“I spent only 2 hours in a chair under local anesthesia, and before that I suffered from severe pain for more than ten years,” laments Michael Sheridan, and then admits that he did not go to the dentists because the cost of this procedure would be too high for him.

And in April, Sheridan got twelve implants at a time. They will form the basis for permanent teeth. All this will also be done for free.
Also, since his teeth were removed, Sheridan has not drunk a single can of soda. Now he tells everyone how harmful it is.
