An eight-year-old British boy shocks family and friends with his smile. The thing is that in the boy's mouth the teeth grow in two rows - just like a shark's, for which he was called "jaws".

Zach Brown from West Yorkshire now has to spend extra time brushing and visiting the dentist to keep his double set of teeth healthy.

The thing is that the baby's milk teeth did not fall out when the permanent ones grew. "Shark teeth" appear in every tenth child, but the case of Zach, according to dentists, is one of the most striking.

His mother, Claire, 38, began to suspect that something was wrong with her son when he had his first permanent tooth.

“It looked really weird. His milk teeth did not fall out, but the permanent ones continued to grow,”the woman says.

Zach's sickness actually means that his permanent teeth have pierced his gums next to the milk ones. However, what upsets the boy the most is not that his teeth are arranged in two rows. The most unpleasant consequence of the disease was the inability to make money on the tooth fairy. As legend has it, the fairytale character gives the child a small amount of money (or sometimes a gift) instead of a baby tooth that has fallen out, which lies under the pillow overnight.

Hoping to exchange his baby teeth for money, as his brother and sister do, Zach tried to loosen his baby teeth, but to no avail, writes in the latest issue of Mail Online.

“That's the only thing that bothered him. Otherwise, Zach has no problems with the second row of teeth,”said his mother.

However, last week Zak still lost his first baby tooth, and there is hope that in the future his condition will return to normal.
