The end of 2018 was marked by a series of unprecedented climatic events that affected Saudi Arabia, where, after precipitation unthinkable for a desert, grass thickets suddenly appeared.
The situation in itself looked extremely strange and inexplicable by any climatology, however, what most struck the inhabitants of the Middle East was that all this was reflected in detail in Muslim eschatology. That is, all these floods, snow and the appearance of grass in the desert are direct signs of the Apocalypse, which is written about in Muslim holy books.
To complete the picture, only the clouds of black locusts were missing, devouring Mecca, the main city of the Muslim world. But the locust was not long in coming:
All this has been observed in Mecca since January 6-7, where there are so many locusts that the city authorities were forced to urgently organize special teams to combat insects, the number of which is estimated in tons.

In the past few years, absolutely amazing things have happened to nature, which often manifest themselves in insect invasions in certain regions. So, in the fall of 2018, the whole of Greece was entangled in cobwebs as a result of the inexplicable reproduction of one of the local species of insects, and Britain at the same time survived the invasion of ladybirds.
However, locusts in Mecca are a situation of a somewhat different series, since, firstly, this species of grasshoppers does not live in this area and nothing of the kind is reflected even in the annals. Secondly, Mecca is not London or Athens, but a holy city for Muslims, so the inexplicable things happening there are perceived by many as mystical events.
And how else to perceive it if the plague of locusts is a classic attribute of the onset of the Apocalypse, reflected in Christianity, and in Islam, and in Judaism. So the times described in Revelation are definitely approaching and the Saudis are best understood today.
