Scientists in the process of conducting research analyzed Altai larch trees and came to the conclusion that they influenced the formation of Islam as a world religion. The wood showed that in the 7th century there was an abnormal cold snap, in connection with which the Arabs could invade the regions located nearby. This process was the beginning of the spread of Islam on Earth.

The cold snap faced by the world's population is called the Little Ice Age. Scientists, in order to study this period more thoroughly, decided to look at the wood of 650 Siberian larches that grow in the Altai mountains. Experts found that there was a sharp drop in temperature, especially in the years 530-660. Perhaps the abnormal cooling was caused by a powerful volcanic eruption.

In the 7th century, political cataclysms were also observed, accompanied by the invasion of the Arabs. After the Prophet Muhammad died in 632, the Islamists left the Arabian Peninsula, capturing Egypt, North Africa, Iran and part of Asia Minor. As a result, Islam spread to all these territories, which later became a world religion.

According to the hypothesis of scientists, the Arabs could also leave their historical territories due to heavy downpours caused by the global cooling. Precipitation had a beneficial effect on the harvest, so the inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula prepared more food for camels in order to travel longer distances.
