Two-year-old Adam Kirby became the smallest member of the International Gifted Mensa Association. The child's IQ is higher than some of the world's political leaders. The kid is already reading Shakespeare and learning the Japanese, Spanish and French alphabets.
Most toddlers learn to walk and doodle at the age of two. Adam Kirby, who lives with his parents in south London, already knows the multiplication table and reads books.
The two-year-old has passed the Stanford Binet IQ test. Adam's result amazed not only his parents: the baby scored 141 points. This is more than British Prime Minister David Cameron and US President Barack Obama received for the same test.
According to the boy's parents, Dean and Carrie-Ann Kirby, they noticed that their son was different from other children when their child began to change diapers and read books recommended for seven-year-olds. Now their son is already reading poems by William Shakespeare and studying the Japanese, Spanish and French alphabets. Adam knows the periodic table and all the planets of the solar system.
“His abilities are incredible. While other children are learning to get up and crawl, Adam is already reading books,”said 33-year-old Dean Kirby. “We showed him cards with the words“rhino”and“hippopotamus”and he could distinguish between these animals,” said the father of the little genius.
Adam has a two-month-old brother, Ethan. Parents are confident that their youngest son will be even smarter than the older one.
Dean and Kerry-Ann Kirby are also members of Mensa. It is the largest organization that includes people with high IQs, and anyone who passed the standard IQ test better than 98% of the population can join.
