Every living entity is a projection of the soul in the material world. It is sometimes said that a person has a soul. But from the position of esotericism, the soul is primary, and the body is its physical manifestation, form.
All souls follow the path of evolution. Reborn many times, they gradually develop and become more complex through the accumulation of experience. And having overcome the entire path of reincarnation: from the simplest organisms to mammals, one day the soul is embodied in the human body.
The form or body always corresponds to the level of evolution of the soul and its tasks in the current incarnation. And this level of soul evolution will determine its place in the hierarchy of souls. Man is the highest level of hierarchy in the biological world. Everything in nature possesses consciousness, but the difference between man is that he possesses not only consciousness, but also o-consciousness. Through awareness, we identify ourselves in space, separating our inner "I" from the world around us.
The tasks and goals of the soul before incarnation in the human body consisted of an unconscious set of survival experiences. Past incarnations in the animal world subsequently become the basis for the development of the instinctive-sensory plan of man. From here, instincts and reflexes grow, without which a person would be completely unadapted to the conditions of earthly existence.
Awareness
Awareness means the consciousness of God in God. O is the Source, the point from which everything flows; and a hole into which everything will be thrown. In the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, this symbol corresponds to the Sephira "Keter" - "Crown". This is a state of being, bordering on nothingness, a mythological primordial ocean, from which the whole world will be created. O is a symbol of the world egg, which contains only information about the future Universe in its embryo.
The Old Russian Initial letter "It" means something that lies outside the material world, but has a connection with it. Just as God realizes himself in the ocean of being, a person can realize God in himself: O-c-O-knowledge or Axis-O-Knowledge.
In the natural world, a meeting of the divine and the material takes place. And the task of the human soul is to achieve a conscious harmony of these two principles within oneself.
Once a single spirit divided itself into subtle and gross, into internal and external. This is how two opposite principles appeared, as a result of the interaction of which life was born. Everything created by the One God has a dual pair: creating the sky, God creates the earth; and the light he creates makes the existence of darkness evident. In the Zoroastrian myth of the creation of the world, Zervan is an infinite eternity, he thinks that he would have a son. But instead of one, two sons are born in his womb, making up a dual pair, the personification of good and evil - Ohrmazd and Ahriman.
Mythological pairs of opposites are a reflection of one of the basic Laws of the Universe, extending to everything manifested - the Law of Polarity, spoken at one time by Hermes Trismegistus:
This principle is applicable to the human psyche. Therefore, we divide the world into internal and external, into everything that is "I" and everything that is not "I". Disharmony occurs when the outer world does not meet the expectations of the inner world.
Unsatisfied desires of "I" make a person suffer. And this pain is a mechanism that pushes to search and development.
With the help of awareness, a person can restore the harmony of the lost unity. To be conscious means to be in harmony with the Axis, with God the Creator and with the laws of the Universe. That is, the global task of every soul is to build harmonious relations between its own inner world and the outer world. You can go to this all your life, or you can go for several lives.
4 levels of tasks of the human soul
The tasks of the soul are also subject to the law of hierarchy, and they can lie in different spheres of being.
Spheres of human existence:
- Material world
- Emotional and sensory experiences
- Intelligence and cognition (mental)
- Spirituality
The foundation and foundation is matter. Therefore, it is with the tasks that lie in the material world that the soul will begin its path. Such tasks include everything related to a comfortable existence: delicious food, good clothes, reliable housing, etc. Souls whose main tasks lie in the material world are not distinguished by vivid emotionality and sharp intellect. Often these are people of physical labor. They have good health, the ability to endure heavy physical activity. Among the people of such a warehouse, there may be talented artisans (wood or metal carving, forging, pottery, jewelry).
Sensual people often have creative abilities: actors, painters, writers, musicians … They are also good psychologists and teachers. In general, emotions and feelings are a feature of the feminine principle and therefore, for the most part, women are predisposed to them. Men are most often logical, although this is not at all a rule.
For people inclined to intellectual work, the main task of the soul is at the mental level. As a rule, these are scientists, inventors, programmers, or people climbing the career ladder.
Souls, whose main task is the spiritual path, can be embodied in the guise of spiritual mentors, philosophers, enlighteners. But this is optional. The main thing for people with such tasks will be self-development, knowledge of the laws of the Universe, helping people.
It is worth remembering that the distinctions are arbitrary. And most often the task of the soul lies in several areas at the same time. For example, artistic creation is both emotional and sensory perception, but also spiritual work. Dancing is also related to the sphere of feelings, but also to physical improvement. A teacher can be both an intellectual leader and a spiritual mentor.
And finally, the task of the soul is not at all one for the entire incarnation. There are many more of them and they lie in all areas of our life. The very harmony that was mentioned at the beginning of the article is the true goal, and it is the same for all: harmonious development on all 4 planes. It is clear that each of the priorities will be placed in different ways, depending on the individual personality traits. But even if you feel like an intellectual genius or a spiritual enlightener, do not forget about your physical body and emotional-sensory development.
About karmic debts
Talents and abilities give us the opportunity to realize the main tasks of our soul in the present incarnation. But what can the feeling of emptiness or lack in any of the areas of life speak of? This question is answered by the Law of Karma, or the thread of cause-and-effect relationships, which can be traced back from past lives.
Our weak points, which cause pain or discomfort, are a sign of a karmic debt. Sometime in the past, you didn’t internalize some experience you needed, and now because of its absence you are suffering. The assimilation of the once-lost experience is also a task of the soul that it did not solve in the past. And the longer you postpone the resolution of this issue, the more the question will remind of itself.
A person can feel such karmic moments himself. For example: excessive resentment, physical weakness, inability to find a common language with others, weak will, callousness or, on the contrary, excessive emotionality. Everything that hinders us in life indicates our weak points, which must be worked on. Otherwise, debts from past incarnations can become an obstacle in fulfilling the current task of the soul. As a result, the next incarnation will be even richer in obstacles.
How to define the tasks of the soul
All sorts of prognostic esoteric sciences are engaged in determining the tasks of the soul: astrology, numerology, palmistry, physiognomy. The unique lines of the hand and the arrangement of the planets at the time of a person's birth can tell a lot about his character, abilities, and stressful aspects of his life. Working with a psychologist can also help. Although, in fact, in most cases, a person is able to help himself. It is enough to ask yourself more often questions about “what I feel and why”, “what I want and why I need it”, and of course, find the courage to answer them honestly.
