This story happened 20 years ago. Once my sister Valentina called me and complained that her husband Vasily had had a backache for a week.

The therapist came to see the patient, but all her appointments were useless. Nothing helps Vasily. I advised Valentina to call a neurologist, but I myself decided to visit them during a doctor's visit in order to personally hear the diagnosis.

The neurologist came at noon and started the examination. Vasily moaned constantly.

- Did the pain intensify? I asked my sister.

She nodded and replied that neither painkillers, nor pills, nor ointments help. Examining the patient, the doctor said:

- Don't you think that a triangle has formed on his back in the waist area?

Cape sister looked at each other in surprise: what would that mean? The doctor said that the patient must be urgently hospitalized, since the diagnosis, according to her assumptions, is very bad. Vasily was taken to the hospital.

The next day, Valya and my husband and I went to the hospital and found the attending physician. He came out to our corridor with pictures in his hands and said that the diagnosis was unfavorable:

Promotional video:

- We did a magnetic resonance imaging of the spine. Diagnosis: cancer. The seventh vertebra is destroyed. The patient is sent for examination to a vertebrologist today.

Only Valya was allowed into the ward. She later said that Vasily looked very bad, all turned yellow, black circles under his eyes. And moans continuously. The next day she called me and said that Vasily had been transferred to another hospital. She was going to visit her husband and asked me to go with her. We arrived at the hospital. Immediately after the medical round, we were told:

- We'll have to operate.

We're back home. Valya is in despair, as the doctor warned that he does not guarantee a successful outcome. The surgery was scheduled for Thursday. To make everything go well, I advised Valya to order a prayer service for health in seven churches.

In the evening of the next day, Valya called me and said that she was able to order a prayer service in only three churches and went to a convent. When she told about her misfortune there, she was advised to order a special prayer service: on the day of the operation, the whole monastery would pray for the health of Vasily.

I advised Valentina not to bother her husband immediately after the operation, because he will not recover from anesthesia yet. She and I went to the hospital on Friday. I was waiting in the waiting room for Valya to talk to her doctor. The sister returned twenty minutes later, confused.

- What happened? - I was alarmed.

It turned out that when she entered the ward, she saw Vasily lying in bed, and next to him three doctors at once. They were talking about something.

- Have you already operated on? - asked Valentina.

- No, we did not operate and we will not operate, - one of the doctors answered.

- And what will they do with him now?

- Nothing. Let's watch.

It turns out that the day before the operation, at the very time when Valentina was visiting churches and a monastery, Vasily suddenly stopped moaning and fell asleep. The doctors were at a loss, since before that the patient was injected with strong painkillers, and they did not help. And then he suddenly fell silent!

They decided not to inject painkillers for now, but just give pills at night. The next day, when the operation was to take place, Vasily's pains practically disappeared. They examined him, and it turned out that he was healthy! It was a real miracle!

Vasily stayed in the hospital for another ten days. Then he was discharged home and was told that now he would be monitored by his attending physician at his place of residence. Valya was handed an extract from Vasily's medical record so that he could hand it over to the doctor.

Valya and I, of course, asked what was written there. In the conclusion there was some kind of disease, but not cancer.

And then I remembered that Valentina was talking about a witch who lived in a village not far from her husband's parents. They did not get along with Vasily. Perhaps it was she who sent the disease to him? How else to explain this sudden illness and miraculous healing from it?

By the way, as the neighbors of the sorceress later told, dying, she literally howled for three days, and after death she was found under the bed - she huddled in a corner.

In general, in my opinion, this is one of the stories about the confrontation between good and evil. And God, as always, was stronger.
