In a huge collection of amazing people-phenomena, there are genetic anomalies completely incomprehensible to science …

The chicken man

In 1986, doctor Dietmar Müller discovered in the local history museum of the small town of Waldenburg a freak in alcohol from the 18th century cabinet of curiosities: among other exhibits, an underdeveloped fetus of a human chicken was kept.

Intrigued, Dr. Müller began excavating the archives and found out the following.

In 1735, in the Saxon town of Tauha, the fourth child was to be born to the spouses Andreas and Johann-Sophia Schmidt.

Mother was 28 years old, father - 38. In the eighth month, Johanna-Sophia had a premature birth. When the child was born, the parents were horrified. He looked more like a chicken than a person. Three healthy, normal children were growing up in the family, and suddenly such a freak!

Doctor Gottlieb Friderici from Leipzig immortalized the ugly little body of a child for posterity and placed it in a jar of alcohol, and then described in detail a unique case in a treatise that was named in Latin "The Rare Human Monster". The detailed description of the fetus was completed by the doctor's phrase: "The coming generations of physicians who will know more than us will solve this riddle of nature."

However, even after 250 years, the mystery of the strange chicken man has not been solved. X-rays and computer programs taken by Dr. Müller did not clarify the reasons for the birth of the freak.

Members of the Syndrome Club (Berlin), which brings together prominent experts on human anomalies, could not find a reasonable explanation. The list of anatomical anomalies in this case is huge: the fetus has a greatly enlarged liver, the skull has a clover-like shape, no ears, a tiny lower jaw, fingers and toes of extraordinary length, nails more like claws and, finally, an unprecedented heart.

Scientists in Berlin and Heidelberg, engaged in gene analysis, have so far been able to establish only the sex of the chicken man. This is a girl. At one time, Gottlieb Friderici made a mistake when he thought that he was a boy.

"Waterproof" Indians

The Amazonian selva is home to an amazing tribe of "waterproof" Takeira Indians. Experts believe that people living far from civilization have developed a special coating on their skin, which allows them to survive in humid forests. The water simply flows off them, and you can pour tons of water on them, but the skin and hair will remain completely dry - this has been tested dozens of times.

In 1988, French physician Jacques Tolborne, while traveling along the Harua River in a canoe, first discovered the "watertight" tribe. The doctor was forced to stay in an Indian village because of a heavy downpour. Tolborne drew attention to the fact that, despite the heavy rain, people continued to calmly go about their usual activities: hunting, fishing, doing housework, and their hair and bodies remained dry all this time.

Dr. Tolbourne took up a study of Indian skin to find out how it resists moisture. The scientist said that the time will come when it will be possible to process umbrellas, raincoats and any clothes with this substance - and not be afraid of any showers.

The third eye phenomenon

Chinese ophthalmologists examined a 25-year-old resident of Fujian province, endowed with three eyes by nature.

The phenomenon (the third described in science) was discovered by Dr. Zheng Yichsun, who conducted a preventive examination of several groups of disabled people.

The extra eye of a young man, whose name is not reported, is on the left temple and does not differ from the other two outwardly. There is a pupil, an eyelid, an eyebrow, a lacrimal gland. But the eye itself is blind. According to the testimony of relatives, the young man generally sees poorly from birth.

A snake-man with inhuman blood

Terrarium clerk Singh Abu noticed that he took the cobra bite surprisingly easily and did not even feel a burning sensation. Having repeated the dangerous experiment with gyurza, he was convinced that he did not care about snake venom. The quick-witted Singh-Abu began to make big money, wandering naked among the reptiles teeming in a glass cage, where he was bitten by the most dangerous snakes several times.

Doctors drew attention to him and took a blood test. They soon discovered that the cobra's venom disintegrates in it and turns into a nutrient. Further study of blood led doctors into complete confusion, since it did not belong to any of the currently existing groups, and its composition and properties have no analogues on Earth.

The natural question is: what is it? Another "mistake of nature" or a manifestation of no less mysterious gene memory? Then whose blood is this, which has nothing to do with human?

"Diamond" tears of Khanuma

In North Africa, from Casablanca to Cairo, no one gives information about Khanum, fearing for her fate.

From birth to her first acquaintance with raw onions, the girl Khanuma did not shed a tear: a cheerful and easygoing child simply had no reason to cry. And when one day, helping her mother, she suddenly cried over the peeled onion, the parents literally were dumbfounded: tears, hard, like rice grains, literally fell from the eyes of the girl.

Frightened by the intrigues of the shaitan, the father and mother vowed not to tell anyone about the misfortune that had happened. Parents were silent for many years. But then his father, a jeweler by profession, began to study Khanuma's tears. He soon discovered that they were quite hard, easy to cut and completely transparent. Besides, they play in the sun and give a brilliance that not every diamond is capable of. The tears went into action.

Jewelry made from them was in great demand. Father kept the secret as best he could, until the tears fell into the hands of an inquisitive person, who determined that "diamonds" are plastic obtained by an unknown method.

Scientists who still cannot solve the secret of Khanuma's tears learned about the phenomenal case. The girl says that tears do not bother her, they harden only on the eyelashes, but they do not stick either to them or to the skin and do not harm her eyesight at all. And the girl cries only because of the onions.

Watch man

In California, 42-year-old Frank White was observed at a research center. This is a unique person: he never had a clock, he knows exactly what time it is, and determines the time to the nearest second. Frank White can be woken up at night and he will tell the time like a chronometer in his head. Electrical engineer White was sent to the center, entering which, he determined with accuracy that the wall clock in the hall was 52 seconds in a hurry. And he was right.

The exact timing, according to Frank White, happens by itself, without any effort on his part. He never wore a wristwatch, but he always came right on time. "It is very possible that this person will provide medical professionals with a new key to understanding the internal time cycles of a person," says Dr. William Scheckter.

The conundrum of synchronous diseases

Englishwoman Leslie Curtis and her 63-year-old father have an amazing ability: wherever they are, they simultaneously fall ill with the same disease.

The first time this happened when Leslie was still young. Mr. Curtis contracted tuberculosis, and soon Leslie began to cough too. Doctors gave her a similar diagnosis. Of course, the girl could just get infected …

However, Mrs. Curtis began to notice other coincidences. If, for example, Leslie fell at school, then her father would have a bruise in the same place. When she fell ill with some childhood disease, he had a fever.

This unusual feature persisted after Leslie got married and had children.

According to Leslie Curtis, her father has a very sensitive stomach and sometimes her mother calls her asking about her health. After all, the mother knows that if her daughter has a stomach ache, then the father begins to suffer the same. Father and daughter headaches start at the same time …

Doctors have not yet found an explanation for this dependence. They believe that, perhaps, this is a subtle connection of biofields.

Glowing girl

Nguyen Thi Nga lived in the small Vietnamese village of Antheong, Hoanan County, Binh Dinh province. At first, no special events took place in the village. Nguyen herself was no different - an ordinary girl, she went to school, helped her parents, collected lemons and oranges with her friends on the surrounding plantations.

But one day she went to bed, and a bright glow began to emanate from her body. A large halo enveloped the head, and golden yellow rays radiated from the arms, legs and body in different directions. The next morning, frightened parents took Nguyen to the local healers. They did some kind of manipulation, but it was all in vain. Then the parents took their daughter to a hospital in Saigon. There Nguyen was put for examination, but no abnormalities in her health were found. Soon the woman was examined by the well-known medicine man Thang. She told him that this glow does not bother her, she was only worried about the incomprehensible fact.

The healer found out that the incident happened on the second day of the new year according to the lunar calendar, and, according to beliefs, this was considered the most favorable time for the grace of the Most High. The girl was marked by Heaven.

Peace of mind returned to Nguyen. And the glow remained. Like a riddle …
