There are certain legends and myths suggesting that ancient civilizations may have had some idea of time travel.
Cave of the Seven Sleeping Youths
As the story goes, during the persecution of Emperor Decius, Christians were in dispute with the Roman state, seven young people took refuge in a cave and fell asleep. When they woke up, they went to the city of Ephesus to buy food. Their surprise was great when they learned that they had slept not for one night, but for two hundred years (there are several more versions of the story). During this period, Christianity spread to all corners of the Roman Empire.
How was it possible for the seven youths to “go away” 200 years? Whether it was time travel or a myth.
There are several examples of time travel in the Bible, one of which relates to the disappearance of Jeremiah. In the Book of Baruch, we come across another strange story.

Before the destruction of Jerusalem, Jeremiah sends Abimelech, the eunuch, to obtain figs from Agrippa's garden. The eunuch falls asleep in the garden and wakes up 66 years later.

In one of the two main Sanskrit epics of ancient India, there is a story about how King Raivata goes to heaven to meet the creator god Brahma.
King Raivata passed away for a hundred years, then returned to see the future.
He would later return to Earth hundreds of years later. Some researchers believe that this Hindu tale may be one of the oldest records of successful time travel in the ancient past.
Another fascinating story comes from Japan. This is the legend of the young fisherman Urashima Taro. According to her, Taro goes to visit the protector of the sea god in the underwater palace.
He gets the impression that three days have passed. Returning to his fishing village, he discovers that he has been missing for 300 years.
The chance of time travel has fascinated humanity for ages. Perhaps even longer than we think.
