The postgraduate student of the scientific center in Ufa managed to come up with a unique, and most importantly, innovative method for obtaining rejuvenating protein. To do this, it is necessary to use the so-called "bearded roots", which received this name because of their appearance.
They are formed during exposure to bacteria. Researchers manage to obtain almost 100 percent protein, which is an epidermal factor for human growth. The girl who managed to make the discovery claims that it can be used equally in medicine and cosmetology, and a product of this kind will cost several tens of times cheaper than any foreign analogue.
“First, we take the bearded roots and allocate a place for them in the bioreactor, where they will have to produce a nutrient medium. Then the protein is purified from various impurities, and after that we can get a perfectly pure product and use it for medical and cosmetic purposes,”the scientist says.
