Last year my wife and I vacationed in Romania, which is rich in its mineral springs. Moreover, there healing waters flow directly from springs, which are found, for example, along city roads.
We rented a car and went on a trip around the country. It was summer, the heat, I want to drink constantly. Well, since there are many springs in the country and many of them are indicated by road signs, we often made stops to wash and drink water.
Having made a stop near one of these springs near Manga-lia, we saw in front of us not just an equipped pipe inserted into the ground from which water flows, but also a special warning sign. On it in several languages, including Russian, it was written approximately the following: “You can drink this water and rinse your mouth with it only if you have problems with your teeth. Water has the ability to relieve toothache, cure tooth decay, stomatitis, gum disease. But if you are not experiencing problems, please do not drink water."
But we didn't really believe the warning, and I got drunk heartily. I also poured water into a bottle with me on the road. In the evening, returning to the hotel, my wife went to the Internet to look for information about the "tooth spring", and found it. According to legend, he actually has healing power, but there is also a downside to the miracle - if you drink water "just like that", and not for treatment, the spring can punish - you can lose your teeth.
When we returned home at the end of the vacation, my filled tooth ached terribly. I went to the dentist. It turned out that a cyst had formed under the tooth. They began to drill a tooth - it crumbled, just crumbled into pieces. As a result, the remains were removed, treated, but … I was left without a tooth. Now I am thinking about an implant, but so far there is no time and money for the installation.
How can we not recall the curse of the Romanian spring? Now I really believe in its power.
