There have been a lot of Flat Earth videos lately that talk about the oddities of life in Australia. To confirm or refute the myths about this mysterious continent, we managed to find a Russian-speaking man of our former compatriot, a native of the Kirov region, Igor Vasilyevich Volynov, who has moved and has been living in Townsville, Australia for the eighth year. We contacted him on Skype and here is a fragment of his story:

“I moved with my family to Australia seven years ago. We settled in Townsville on the east coast. While the first year we settled down, I did not notice anything strange in local life. Quiet calm city, friendly neighbors, well-paid job, almost no crime - live and rejoice. The strangeness began in the second year, at least I began to notice them on the rise. On our first vacation, my family and I decided to travel around Australia itself on our own, as we bought a good trailer, almost a mobile home with all the amenities. Friends recommended driving along the coast towards Sydney, where a comfortable track is laid. But we decided to go inland to some national park to see the exotic nature of Australia and its unusual fauna.

Our acquaintances began to dissuade us, stating that we would not be able to drive there by road. There are only air or rail links to the parks. We did not obey them and went to the West across the mainland as savages, as we used to do in Russia, going with friends in cars to the Black Sea in the summer. The first oddities I noticed after driving 30 kilometers from our city. The previously busy highway has gradually become completely empty. We eat for several hours - the road is empty. We begin to drive up to some village, cars appear, then there is another void. When we drove into a steppe or even a semi-desert zone, the asphalt suddenly ended abruptly and the dirt road went, although the federal highway was shown on the maps. I thought I was lost, but the navigator showed that we were eating right. And then fences and hedges made of barbed wire went. Every five to ten km we had to open and close the gates blocking the road. I read that these are supposedly sheep grazing grounds, but for miles we saw no livestock or people. Further, the road became even more terrible, it seemed that they did not go on it at all. On the second day of our strange journey, we were stopped by a mounted patrol of two armed rangers, who declared that they had already violated local law, having driven through several private estates and now invaded the closed federal lands. I tried to show them a roadmap with our route and a navigator, but they wrote us a fine and told us to turn back immediately, otherwise they would have to arrest us.but for many miles we saw neither livestock nor people. So our trip to Australia ended on its own. From further conversations with acquaintances at work, I realized that it was impossible to simply cross Australia by car. You will definitely be deployed by paramilitary units if you do not have a pass. Only by plane or train and on certain routes. It is also not recommended to travel far from cities behind the scenes. For seven years of living here, I never saw the real Australia, except for Sydney and several towns on our coast, where travel is allowed. Locals explain this by the fact that the laws here are strict about private property and nature protection, which is why it is so difficult to move around, but it seems to me that there is something more here. Sometimes I wonder if there is Australia or is it some kind of reservation. And here's another. Once in a bar I met a hereditary Australian aborigine. They barely work and live happily ever after on substantial unemployment benefits. He told me an interesting legend of his ancestors. Earlier, when the whites, that is, we, had not yet sailed to their sacred land, there were no fences and everyone lived freely and went wherever they wanted, even to the snowy lands.

To my question, what are these territories. He said that if you go a long way south through the desert, you will come to an ice wall, behind which there are endless snowy expanses, where the Snow Gods live. When the leader of the tribe died, he was taken to those lands and buried in the snow. Sometimes Gods come from there, white tall people with white hair. They treated the sick, taught us everything, and gave plant seeds. In return, we caught different live animals and they then carried them away with them in large transparent balls. After this conversation, I thought, maybe we are not allowed somewhere where these aborigines used to go. I saw on the Internet, now there is a lot of discussion on the theory of the Flat Earth, it says that Australia as such is not in the form of a separate continent, but this is a continuation of Antarctica. At first glance, delirium, but I've been living here for more than a year, began to think more and more often, maybe all this is not nonsense. I found a few like-minded people here. We're going to try to drive to the south coast next year. Now we are laying a safe route and looking for a local stalker guide.

In closed Australian forums, you can find the stories of such stalkers who have visited those southern territories. They also talk about abandoned ghost towns and passages to Antarctica, that the Sun can stand there at one point for several hours. And then abruptly go beyond the horizon, the Moon can also sharply approach and become several times larger or suddenly turn into a month, and the sky there is not blue, but green. But I will tell about this in the next videos."
