Allagash case

There are four credible witnesses involved in this case. In 1976, four friends: Chuck Ruck, Charlie Foltz, Jack and Jim Weiner decided to go camping. All of the men were art students. They left on August 20 on Friday evening and drove from Boston to a remote location, a lake on the Allagash Waterway.

When they arrived at the lake, they camped by the lake. They created a large bonfire, which they knew from experience was supposed to burn for four to five hours. Then they jumped into the two canoes they brought and went on a night fishing trip. It was completely dark on the lake and they planned to use the fire as a lighthouse to get back to camp.

Someone is watching

Soon after they swam to the center of the lake, Chuck had a strange feeling - like someone was looking at him. Turning, he saw a huge ball of light hovering two hundred feet above a distant stretch of lake. Chuck pointed to the object and said, "Hey look!" The others turned and saw a bright, perfectly round sphere, pulsing and changing colors.

Charlie grabbed a flashlight and shone on the object. The sphere, which began to rise slowly, immediately stopped. Then she walked slowly towards Charlie and his buddies, growing in size as it got closer.

The guys panicked and, frightened for their lives, buried them to the shore. As they rowed, a hollow cone of pale blue light popped out of the sphere and began to fly along the surface of the water towards their canoes.

The next thing they remembered was the return to the beach and how they got out of their canoes. The object was hanging over their heads. Stunned as they stood there, they stared at the object for two or three minutes before it super-fired right into the night sky and disappeared.

All four of them felt strange and disoriented. Despite the appearance and disappearance of a very strange object, none of them wanted to talk about it. They noticed, however, that their fire had completely burned out, leaving only a few hot coals. As far as they know, they were gone for only about thirty minutes. The fire was supposed to burn for at least four hours. This later turned out to be a classic case of “missing time”.

Strangers in the bedroom

Several years later, Jim Weiner suffered a head injury. The trauma caused a form of epilepsy known as tempera-limbic epilepsy. During the course of treatment, he was asked if he was experiencing strange experiences. Jim then stated that he had very strange and reality-like dreams. He also woke up frequently, due to the sensation of the presence of strange creatures in his room. Jim's Doctor referred him to Raymond Fowler, a serious UFO researcher.

Fowler had Jim's hypnotic regression, and the whole story of his trip to the Allagash Waterway emerged. Jim and his three buddies were picked up on the lake by a beam of light that followed them. They were all taken aboard the spacecraft. They were examined and fluid samples were taken from them. Samples of skin, hair and nails were also taken.

All four witnesses to the Allagash incident confirmed the experience of others. All their descriptions are the same. All men were artists and were able to provide detailed drawings of what they saw. Drawings included alien creatures, environments and tools used to research them.

Double the fun

The aliens were especially interested in Jim and his twin brother Jack. It turns out that these twins were once abducted as babies. Years later, in May 1988, Jack was abducted again along with his wife Mary. Jack recalls that they literally "floated out of the house and across the lawn" to the waiting ship.

Foreign object

Shortly after Jack and his wife were kidnapped, Jack discovered a strange swelling in his leg. She seemed to appear out of nowhere overnight. Jack's family doctor was worried that the tumor might be cancerous and arranged for a surgeon to remove it. When the surgeon entered, he found a small, strange looking object. Since he didn't know what it was, and had never seen anything like it, the surgeon sent him to the CDC in Atlanta.

Later, while trying to figure out what happened to the remote object, Jack learned that it had been sent to a military pathologist in Washington DC. From there, a US Air Force colonel took control of him and was never heard of again. When Jack went to ask the surgeon more about the object, the surgeon blindfolded him and refused to talk about it, even though Jack was his patient.
