Shamans believe that a person must understand: he is not the crown of creation and is no different from any other representative of the animal or plant world. The appearance of a person is just a shell that can be changed.
They also believe that there is no insurmountable line between the world of the living and the dead. Shamans believe that they can cross this line in any direction and, having communicated with the ancestors of people, convey a warning or a message from them.
The dead help the living, because they are the same, only who have passed into another space. It is believed that shamans, having seen a person for the first time, can warn him of mortal danger and, having performed a rite on this person, save him.
Amazing healings by shamans could be considered fiction and invention, if not for the testimony of people who study them.

“After a heart attack in 1995, I was in the cardiological hospital in Yakutsk with coronary heart disease. He was treated for 3 weeks, and the forecasts were disappointing. Then I learned that an Udagan woman named Matryona Petrovna Kulbertinova lived in a reindeer herding camp in Iyengra, she was then 107 years old.
After the hospital I flew there, to Iyengra by plane and by car to the camp. It was in the spring, around March 7, 1995. And when I first entered Matryona Petrovna's tent, she was such a small woman, and she looked at me and said, "What a young sick man he has come about." I was 47 then, she was 107, and she seemed young to her.
And so she gave orders to her assistants, relatives, to plant 9 larches near the tent, and to tie a young deer, 2-3 years old, "vazhenka" to a separate larch. And from the western side of the tent, and the tent was small, women never entered - for shamans such details are very important.

So the healing process began.
Matryona Petrovna stood by her side and chanted, striking a tambourine. She sang in the Tungus language, no one understood the words, these were archaic words coming from time immemorial. And so she directed a tambourine to the deer and to my chest and back during the ritual. So it took about 15 minutes, then everyone returned to the tent.

And for more than 20 years after a heart attack, my heart does not bother me, I lead an active life, climb the mountains as part of scientific expeditions, regularly fish and hunt, including mountain sheep in the mountains.
