Probably many of us have read the fascinating historical novels of Maurice Druon. In the series "Cursed Kings", consisting of 7 novels, Druon spoke about the difficult fate of the French kings, over whom, starting with Philip IV with all his descendants right up to the 13th generation, hung the curse of the Grand Master of the Knights Templar. Cases, however, are old - the XIV century. The gloomy Middle Ages, obscurantism, in modern times this does not happen, - you might think. And you will be mistaken: in completely different times and in other countries, terrible curses were sent on the heads of state, only they were now not kings, but presidents and prime ministers.
Curse of Tekumse
It was in America in 1813. The great leader of the Shawnee Indian tribe Tekumse said before his death: "Garrison will not end his reign, he will die reigning … And after him, every Great Leader of the pale-faced, elected in 20 years, will die too, and so - until the seventh generation." It should be understood that every US president elected in a multiple of 20 will leave this world before the end of his term in office. Why is the punishment so severe? Garrison, still the governor of Indiana, negotiating with the Indian leaders, brazenly deceived them and seized the lands of the tribe. The Indians tried to bring them back by force, but the forces were not equal. The winner Garrison was elected president in 1840, but died on April 4, 1841, just a month after his inauguration. The next to experience the power of the Indian curse was President Abraham Lincoln,elected in 1860 and shot to death in the theater on April 4, 1865 (after his re-election). The third short-lived president was Garfield, who was elected in 1880. He was shot and killed by a madman in 1881. The fourth person to be hit by the Tecumseh curse was McKinley, who was elected in 1900. In 1901, he died after an assassination attempt. In 1923, President Harding dies under unclear circumstances. He was chosen in 1920. Some believe that the curse also affected Franklin Roosevelt, who ruled the country for as long as no one else: from 1932 to 1945. But not everything is obvious here - after all, he was elected 4 times, and only the 1940 re-elections fit into the Tekumse formula. But he still died in the presidency. The seventh and hopefully the last in this mournful line was John F. Kennedy, who was elected in 1960 and killed in Dallas in 1963.
Fire whip blow
From deep Jewish antiquity, the prayer-spell "Pulse of Denur" has come down to us. From Aramaic it translates as "Blow with a fire whip." According to legend, the prophet Eliyahu possessed the secret of resurrecting the dead and intended to reveal it to his people. The harsh God was angry with him: after all, only he himself, the Almighty, can decide the fate of people, dispose of their life and death.
And God called angels-tormentors, who cursed the impudent prophet and punished with 16 blows of a fiery whip. So the mystery of resurrection went with the cursed prophet to the earth. And the prayer-spell has forever remained in the traditions of the Jewish people, having survived to this day. No other religion (Islamic, Christian or Buddhist) knows such a prayer-spell.

In early October 1995, a curse prayer was publicly performed for the Prime Minister of Israel, a war hero, a military general, very respected in the country, Yitzhak Rabin. He was left with 30 days of life. Ultra-right religious leaders saw Rabin's guilt in the recognition of the Palestinian Authority with the transfer of part of Israeli lands to it, as well as in the signing of a peace treaty with Jordan in 1994. It was for these acts that Rabin was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and the death sentence. The initiator of the "Pulse Denur" in relation to Rabin was a certain Avigdor Eskin, who turned for this purpose to the famous rabbi-Kabbalist Joseph Dayan, a native of Mexico, a great authority in ultra-right circles. He agreed and gathered 8 more religious Jews to perform the ritual. According to Avigdor's memoirs,all participants were aware of the great responsibility for their deed. And he himself officially took responsibility for organizing the curse. After the ceremony, it was necessary, according to tradition, to bring his sentence to the attention of Rabin. Joseph Dayan went to Rabin's residence, guarded by the police. They did not let him close to the residence, but not far from it, in the presence of journalists, Dayan read the text of the curse and answered questions. Later, when the punishment was committed, the Israeli authorities were unable to bring anyone to justice due to the lack of a relevant article in the country's legislation. On November 4, 1995, Rabin was killed in Tel Aviv during a rally on Kings Square (now - I. Rabin Square) by three shots of a university student, religious fanatic Yigal Amir. A murderer sentenced to life in prisonbecame in the eyes of a part of the Israeli society the greatest villain, but for someone a national hero. By the way, already in prison, he officially married Larisa Trembovler, a former Russian woman, a historian by training. Moreover, the spouses achieved permission to have a child, though only through artificial insemination, which was implemented in 2007.
In July 2005, the next Pulsa Denura takes place. According to the next combat general, and now the Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon. Of course, Sharon knew this, but he was not a superstitious person and only laughed at "these obscurantism." And in the meantime, he was left with only 180 days. This was known from the media around the world. A certain Italian, the owner of a small pizzeria, sends Ariel a personal letter, in which he tells the ancient Italian folk amulet against curses - to pull himself at the causal place, and at the same time invites him to come to eat pizza at his restaurant. Everyone is funny. Yes, and Sharon hardly had time to pull his genitals - the situation in the country was too tense and explosive at that time after the beginning of the eviction of Israelis from the territories they occupied.
On January 4, exactly 180 days after Pulse Denur, Sharon receives an email informing him of the hour of the Bull. On the same day, he is struck by an apoplectic stroke (maybe the same "blow with a fire whip"?), And the unbending Sharon falls into a coma for 8 years, turning into an incapacitated invalid. On January 11, 2014, Ariel Sharon died without ever recovering from a coma. Skeptical materialists may laugh, but no Jewish believer dares to laugh at this story.

And then we will tell you two true stories. The events they tell about took place in reality and, on a historical scale, not so long ago, but they are so permeated with mysticism that today they are perceived more like legends.

In the very center of Kiev there is a monument to the national hero of Ukraine - the almighty hetman Bohdan Khmelnitsky. Sitting on a beautiful horse, he raised his hand to the sky with a mace clutched in it - a symbol of undivided power over Batkivshchyna, the embodiment of its independence (independence).
Bogdan is still the pride of the republic. Kievans, guests of the Ukrainian capital, admire the beautiful and impressive monument to the great man.
But not everyone today knows that Khmelnytsky was an ardent and brutally cruel anti-Semite. There is a lot of blood of innocent victims on his hands, on his conscience pogroms, burned down houses and entire villages. Now no one can say with certainty how many souls he has ruined. His faithful guardsmen, the haidamaks, never spared neither old nor small. It remained in the people's memory. And not only Jews suffered from his criminal acts, sometimes Ukrainians also suffered. In one place, drunk with wine and blood, he was especially merciless. The Haidamaks, who came with the hetman, plundered and destroyed all the houses, and burned the synagogue along with the young men and women locked in it. There are no living people left here, as well as the place itself, in which they lived peacefully for many years.
Only the name has survived from their small homeland. 350 years have passed, and the whole world learned this name - the once unknown town was called Chernobyl, and the fatal 4th block of the nuclear power plant built here, according to legend, rose on the site of the synagogue burned down together with people. So through the centuries people were rewarded for their fanaticism.
The second legend
At the beginning of World War II, when the tragic fate of the Jews of Europe was becoming clearer - the Holocaust was already looming on the horizon, people tried to find at least some way to salvation. It was necessary to urgently leave Europe, more and more covered by the ominous shadow of Nazism. To this end, several hundred wealthy members of the community raised money to buy a large steamer on which to sail overseas to the United States. But only the money was not enough for this, it was still necessary to obtain entry American visas. With this request they turned to the US Ambassador to Great Britain, but to their great surprise they were refused, although the seriousness of their motives for leaving Europe was not in doubt. Then, fleeing from inevitable death, these courageous people set off on a voyage without permits, hoping to issue them on the spot. Having learned about this,the ambassador who refused them informed Washington that a ship with illegal immigrants was approaching the American shores.
Having overcome all the difficulties and dangers of sailing across the Atlantic, while military operations were already being actively carried out on its expanses, the steamer nevertheless reached the American coast. It would seem that salvation is so close, but, alas, they were not allowed into the country without visas. The unfortunate had no choice but to return to Europe, blazing with war. Many of those who came ashore soon died in the gas chambers of the Nazi death camps.
When this tragedy happened, the London rabbi came to the American ambassador and said: “Your Excellency, your deeds are not worthy not only of your high title, but also of the title of a person in general. From now on, for the death of hundreds of innocent people through your fault, you yourself and your descendants will be cursed! And the rabbi's curse was not an empty phrase. Let us remember what tragedies awaited the family of the American ambassador, who was Joseph Patrick Kennedy.
His eldest son Joseph crashed on a plane. The second oldest son, John, the 35th President of the United States, fell victim to an assassination attempt. True, no one will say in this case whose curse led to the tragedy - the London rabbi or the Indian leader. After 6 years, the same fate awaited the next representative of the Kennedy clan - Robert. Another 30 years have passed and the president's young son, John Fitzgerald Jr., dies in a plane crash. You say - an accident?
