This doll looks a little creepy on its own, but it's not just the look. There are many oddities associated with this doll. Its previous owners indicated that on some day it was possible to enter the room with a doll and see that its box was open. And then the other day the box was closed. Naturally, none of the people touched the box at all.
According to its current owner, 21-year-old Briton Ben Canham from Leicestershire, there are spirits trapped inside the doll. Ben volunteers at the Museum of the Paranormal and regularly searches for antiques that seem weird or sinister.
One day Ben found this Victorian doll at a sale and the doll came with a small wooden box with a note inside. The note stated that the doll was found in 1990 and that two souls live inside it, named Sarah and Richard.
According to Ben, when the doll got to him, strange things began to happen in his house.
“I started to hear strange knocks and other strange sounds. Once the light in the bathroom began to turn on and off by itself, as if someone was playing naughty and clicking the keys, but the switch did not move. I was scared, but very interesting."
Ben has been interested in the paranormal for many years, and it began after the death of his parents when he was still a child. According to him, he received great consolation when he learned that there could be a spiritual world, in which his deceased parents are now.
When Ben came to the Museum of Paranormal Things and Phenomena in Hinckley, he volunteered there and was allowed to view and study museum items.

Here is the full text of the strange note that came with the doll.
“Hello, thank you for purchasing Richard and Sarah. These two items (doll and box) were found in an abandoned car in 1990. The woman who found them took them home. After a few days, she began to notice that the doll was changing the position of its arms and legs and the box was open or closed. This happened several times.
Then the woman began to hear giggles coming from the room in which the doll was being held. The activity increased and the woman asked her aunt to help her. The aunt took the doll and had a session with it. She learned that the doll contains souls and their names are Richard and Sarah. They were lovers in life and found themselves very attached to objects that meant something special to them.
Sarah's spirit is attached to this doll, and Richard's to a small box. We do not know who these people were or where they came from. This item was (after buying from us) returned back after their buyer reported that at night someone was walking up and down stairs, and then he began to hear a whisper. It drove him crazy.
