We spend a third of our lives in a dream. But very often people sleep in terrible conditions and do not even realize that this is the reason for their constant fatigue, illness and bad mood.

Mattress, not a sofa

Sleep is given to us to restore strength, to rest the body, "overload" the brain, and, as many esotericists believe, so that our soul can travel through time and space and communicate with other souls. Of course, such important processes must take place in the right conditions.

The most important thing for sleep, of course, is what we sleep on. Only a comfortable, solid bed with a good mattress can be a truly healthy place to sleep. It is a bed, not a sofa, even the nicest one. Any sofa is designed for comfortable seating, relaxed watching movies, but not for sleeping. Sofas always have seams, uneven surfaces, they quickly squeeze through, and dust and dirt accumulate in the soft upholstery.

But, nevertheless, very often people sleep on squeezed sofas, or on old uncomfortable beds, or on a very soft mattress - and they get tired more overnight than in a day. A crooked back, an uncomfortable posture, numb legs and arms - all this does not allow you to sleep and relax. A comfortable and high-quality mattress literally takes care of the human body. On a flat surface, the vertebrae straighten, the neck and lower back rest, pain disappears in them. It is no coincidence that in neurological departments of hospitals, instead of mattresses, there are often wooden shields - sleeping on a hard surface has a medical effect.

Many people make themselves such a medical hard bed at home. At first, it is uncomfortable to sleep on it, but then a person gets used to it - and he feels that his back no longer hurts.

By the way, in many countries they have long slept on wide benches or wooden trestle beds made of flat planks. Above was laid something like carpets, patchwork quilts, etc. - that is, on such a bed, you always felt a firm support under your back.

But now it is not necessary to sleep on boards, you can buy good mattresses that have a healing effect. In addition, the correct mattress consists of high-quality fillers and upholstery - they must evaporate moisture well, because a person loses a large amount of fluid through the skin pores during sleep. By the way, bad beds with sagging old mattresses often still smell very bad - and sleeping on them becomes a test for a person. There can be no question of any healthy sleep.

Cleanliness and freshness

For the same reason, clean linen should be on the bed. In expensive hotels, for example, it is customary to change bed linen every day - and many people are willing to pay more for this feeling of constant freshness and cleanliness.

At home, only a few are capable of such feats, but all people admit that going to bed on clean, freshly made linen that smells of freshness is one of the very great pleasures of life. And many strive to please themselves with this pleasure as often as possible.

In addition, the bedroom itself should be conducive to healthy sleep and relaxation. It must be very clean, without old dusty carpets, heavy curtains that have not been washed for a long time - so that a person does not breathe dust all night. The bedroom must be well ventilated - and it is generally better to sleep with the window ajar (of course, if your windows do not overlook a noisy highway or a chemical plant).

The interior of the bedroom should not have aggressive paints, drawings and pictures of a dark theme, loudly screaming TV with terrible news. Only soft tones, beautiful images, pleasant music. The very look of the bedroom should be relaxing and make you want to plunge into a pleasant sleep.

If you go to bed in such a pleasant bedroom, on a comfortable mattress, clean linen, breathe clean air all night, then your body and soul will rest during the night, and in the morning you will be fresh and full of vigor and strength.
