In January 2009, a book by a local scientist and teacher Evgeny Panishev "Miracles and Secrets of Tobolsk" was published in Tobolsk. Panishev tells in his book about miraculous icons, treasures, evil spirits, which local residents met, about many strange natural phenomena noticed by observers in the 17th century. A lot of interesting discoveries await readers on the pages of the book, published by the mini-printing house of the Tobolsk Pedagogical Institute.
Among other things, there is such an entertaining record of the Tobolsk chronicler, telling not only about the appearance of a cigar-shaped UFO, but also about an alien.
