PLAÇA DEL COMERC
It is a small area with a street lamp in the middle and a large clock in the background. Some say that paranormal activity occurs about 8-10 times a year, most of them occurring between 9 pm and midnight. According to some locals, ghosts can be seen crossing the streetlight at night.
CARRER DE FLOR DE LLIRI
In the mid-20th century, this street was home to several hotels where travelers could sleep or rest before continuing on their journey. Legend has it that many of the guests of these houses disappeared under mysterious circumstances. They were never pronounced dead, and their bodies have not yet been recovered. CARRER DELS MIRALLERS
This street is known for its past demonic history. Indeed, at the end of the 19th century the poet Jasine Verdaguer, also known for his suspicious activities as a priest, lived there and performed several exorcisms in his house at number 7. Legend has it that demonic spirits are still trapped in this house.
GRAN TEATRE DEL LICEU
In this opera house, you can feel the mysterious energy of the past. The legend says that in the Middle Ages, executions and curses took place on the site where the Theater was built. This story seems to confirm the legend: the theater, built in 1847, burned down in 1861, was bombed by anarchists in 1893, and burned down again in 1994. Dozens of people died within the walls of the Grand Theater.
CARRER FRANCISCO GINER
In 1935, an entire building on Rue Francisco Guinerra observed the paranormal for a week. Several neighbors, as well as the police and the press, were present to witness this mysterious phenomenon. The story goes that many people who lived at Carrer Francisco Giner heard loud noises at night, such as banging walls. At the same time, the neighbors of the building saw their pieces of furniture floating in the air. The doors of the building were locked and the story goes that the child - Joan Monroig, who lived in the building at the time and who was sick - created these poltergeists.
MERCAT DE SANT ANTONI
Before it became a famous market place, it was one of the gallows in Barcelona. It is said that this place is cursed for all the atrocities that took place there. During the process of urbanization of the area, no one wanted to live there, and the city decided to build a market.
CATEDRAL DE SANTA EULALIA
The Cathedral of Saint Eulalia, named after the martyrdom of Saint Eulalia, is a masterpiece of architecture, but within its walls lies a difficult past.
