Throughout its history, humanity has divided the world into black and white. But who created this duality? Where is the forge of philosophies that produced this division? Why is black bad and light good, and vice versa? The answer to these questions can be found in the myths about Shambhala and Agharti, the unique spiritual centers of the previous civilizations of the Earth. According to legend, there are mysterious creatures that control the course of human history …

Clash of the Titans

All the scriptures of the major world religions are quite similar: there is a creator God and there is an angel who rebelled against him, outlawed and cast into hell. It is curious that in the more ancient mystical teachings the world is presented much more complex and interesting. If in all modern religions a light deity fights with his dark opponent, then ancient religious teachings describe the battles of gods and giants, gods and dragons, and even people. There are similar examples in the Scandinavian epic, in Russian epics, in Greek mythology. The end in these "tales" is always the same: the gods cast their opponents into the underworld and begin to reign on Earth …

What is the fate of all these defeated dragons and titans? It is generally accepted that the underworld, where the gods threw them, is a metaphor behind which the world of the dead lies. However, occultists claim that the defeated titans settled and live to this day in the mythical underground country of Agharti, where huge tunnels stretch from all over the Earth.

Agharti - the sacred center of the world?

In literary sources, Agharti is often associated with Shambhala. But if Shambhala, in the opinion of most esotericists, is the abode of spiritual knowledge, then Agharti, in contrast to it, is a bank of technologies for both military and peaceful purposes. Let's remember: in the Bible, “human history” begins with the fall of Adam, who ate of the tree of knowledge at the behest of the Serpent.

By the way, an interesting fact: according to an ancient legend, the Chinese emperors trace their origin from a heavenly traveler (which is why China is called the Celestial Empire), who supplies the Chinese with knowledge. Was it not this heavenly wanderer who helped the Chinese in time immemorial to invent gunpowder and master the extraction of oil?.. Moreover, some researchers tend to believe that Agarty is located in the immediate vicinity of China - in the caves of Tibet, the Himalayas and Altai Mountains.

Go there, I don't know where

Researchers have long attempted to penetrate the underground city of the ancients. The first to speak of Agharti after thousands of years of church censorship was Saint-Yves d'Alveidra. In his book "Mission to India", published in 1866, he wrote about Agharti as a country that is a center for the storage of world wisdom, and of non-human origin. According to him, the inhabitants of this city keep unique technogenic knowledge and sometimes share it with people, fortunately, the underground country is connected to the surface of the Earth by endless tunnels. Similar conclusions were made 56 years later by the White Guard Ferdinand Ossendovsky, who for some time worked as Minister of Finance of Admiral Kolchak. After the defeat of the White movement, he fled to Mongolia with the remnants of the White Army, where he lived for several years. Later in exile in 1922, he published the book "Beasts, Men, and Gods."In it, Ossendovsky said that Agharti is a giant underground country located immediately under all continents, into which huge tunnels lead from all over the Earth. In it, as the Mongol elders told him, the King of the World lives: he, together with his subordinates, rules the course of world history. According to him, while wandering around Mongolia, he was even shown the entrance to this country, located near Lake Nogan-Kul. However, later studies found that the indigenous Mongolian peoples do not know anything about Agharti, and a lake with this name is located in the Western Sayan region, but still on the border with Mongolia …it is he, together with his subordinates, who rules the course of world history. According to him, while wandering around Mongolia, he was even shown the entrance to this country, located near Lake Nogan-Kul. The third who seriously studied the legends about Agharti was the famous French scientist Rene Guénon, who became famous for his theoretical calculations of the geographical coordinates of the entrance to the underground repositories of the previous civilizations of the Earth. The scientist compared the books of both travelers and found that F. Ossendowski and d'Alveidra in their records indicated almost the same place under the main mountain range of the planet. It was just that one had the entrances to the forbidden country from the Western Sayan and Gorny Altai, and the other in the Himalayas from India.

Interesting conclusions about Agharti can be made by examining the texts of N. K. Roerich. According to his records, the traditions of Shambhala and Agharti are directly opposed to each other. And if Shambhala is the center, first of all, of spiritual knowledge and energies, then Agharti is more of a secret civilization with sacred technical knowledge.

On a string to the world

According to the texts of F. Ossedovsky and Rene Guénon, the passages or underground tunnels connecting the Earth and Agartha should have exits on all continents and at least be reflected in the legends and traditions of local peoples. And what? It turned out that such legends and even archaeological finds exist!

So, in China they know about the existence of Agharti. They believe that in this underground country there is a spring with water that gives eternal youth.

But in Turkey, not so long ago, archaeologists discovered the cave city of Karapynar. As scientists say, it was built in the second century, but the ventilation of the dungeon is still working, and it itself is a huge number of caves and passages going into the crater of the Shirali volcano. Moreover, in ancient times, the city was clearly well guarded: many passages are locked with boulders, and from some corridors "millstones" can roll out onto uninvited guests, capable of grinding a tourist into powder. Unfortunately, many caves are flooded. Archaeologists managed to explore only a small part of the city. But even this smallness was enough for them to conclude that the underground polis is connected with other similar cities going deep into the earth. Archaeologists are sure that the radius of the settlement is at least 20 kilometers.

European legends are not inferior to the legends of the Asian region. So, in Germany, enthusiasts and adventurers are still looking for the Nibelungen caves. In them, according to legend, Frederick the Great sleeps: he will rise when the dried pear blossoms, and reassemble his shelves for great conquests.

In Ireland there is a similar belief, according to which King Conan is buried in a tomb in the local mountains, and a mysterious key to the city of Pra-Basil, an analogue of the mythical Russian Kitezh-Grad, is hidden nearby.

In Greece, legends tell of the titans, thrown by Zeus into the lower world of Tartarus, from which sooner or later they must rise and re-conquer the whole world.

American Indians also have legends about the underground country. The caves of the extinct volcano Mont Shast in California, as legends say, are inhabited by "ancient people", they are peaceful, but do not like contacts with the inhabitants of the "upper world".

And finally, in Australia, the Aborigines talk about their ancestors as "the inhabitants of the caves under the mountains", meaning the mountains of the Great Dividing Range.

Dmitry SAVITSKY

Comments of experts:

Who, according to modern scholars, founded Agharti? And where is the entrance to this underground land? The famous researcher and collector of ancient texts Dmitry Zhilyaev answers these questions for our correspondent.

- Dmitry, do you think Shambhala and Agharti are synonyms of the same place, antipodes, or just fairy tales of the ancient inhabitants of the Earth ?

- I believe that in ancient times gods lived on Earth, and it was in the country called Shambhala. These gods used humanity as a labor force in their mines. Once a part of the young gods decided to secede: instead of exploiting humanity, they decided to teach him technologies in order to make people more perfect. Separated, the young gods founded the city of Agharti. The elder gods, of course, did not like this, and a war took place. It was this event that entered ancient myths and legends as the war of the gods.

And what happened next?

- Since the war was fought with the use of nuclear weapons, which is confirmed by the Indian scripture "Mahabharata", some of the people, together with representatives of Agharti, took refuge in caves, creating that very legendary underground country.

Where do you think is the entrance to the secret dungeons leading to Agharti?

- According to my research of ancient manuscripts, including scrolls belonging to the Bon-Po teachings, the entrance to Agartti should be located in the area of the modern Sayan Mountains, bordering the Altai and Mongolia.

UNDERGROUND OF THE URAL

There is a legend that the undergrounds of the Ural Mountains also lead to a certain underground city. Some researchers believe that somewhere in these parts is the unique Russian paradise Belovodye, which many Russian travelers and ascetics sought to find. According to legend, even Prince Vladimir sent an expedition led by monk Sergius in search of the legendary Belovodye. And the monk found this place, lived in it for seven years, and then returned to our world with unique knowledge …

The famous researcher of anomalous phenomena, director of the Russian Ufological Station Nikolai SUBBOTIN agreed to comment on these rumors and legends.

Do you think the legends about the underground city in the bowels of the Ural Mountains have a real basis?

- I have already heard several times about the strange caves that travelers and tourists find in the Urals. They say that the caves have an unusual shape and leave a feeling of artificiality. There are also absolutely fantastic stories about petrified mechanisms sticking out of the walls. Eyewitnesses cannot explain what it is, but they do not dare to spend the night in such caves.

Against this background, there are scattered information about the mythical underground city in which our ancestors hid from some terrible catastrophe. And the memory of the terrible events of that time, the descent into the earth and the suffering that people had to endure was transformed into the myth of the descent into the underworld.

Recently, Italian researchers, together with NASA, conducted a study of the surface of our planet. As a result, they discovered several dozen ancient craters formed by powerful nuclear explosions. They scientifically proved that many thousands of years ago our planet experienced a global war with the use of modern offensive weapons. According to the researchers, the surviving groups of people were forced to hide in artificial underground caves and cavities for a long time, rebuilding them into underground cities. And one of these cities, according to Italian scientists, was located in the Perm region.

From time immemorial, folk legends have associated with the Urals the existence of an amazing people - "Chudi white-eyed". The Chud, according to legend, lives "in the pits" and hides his sworn treasures there. What do you think of this underground people? Maybe he still inhabits the undergrounds of the Urals?

- Why not? Experiments have already been carried out several times, which have proven the possibility of human existence for a long time in a closed space …

Over the past five years, I have heard stories several times about the encounters of tourists with strange people of short stature, with white hair and the same white eyes. As a rule, these were elders. Meeting travelers who decided to stay overnight in abandoned villages near the Ural Mountains, they discouraged tourists from continuing their journey and advised them to return home …

And what do you think, the inhabitants of Agartha, Shambhala, Belovodye still influence the lives of people, supplying them with knowledge?

- It doesn't matter what the center of secret knowledge is called - Shambhala, Agharti, Atlantis. Place names are not important. The main thing is to understand - why is new knowledge given? After all, any scientific "injection" in the form of ideas and insights pursues some kind of global goal. And here we need to think about - where are we, in fact, moving? To a new round of technical progress? To a planetary catastrophe with long centuries in the underground Tartars?..

Occult and cosmological writings say that the law of expediency works in the world. And if the representatives of the underworld act within the framework of this law, then their goals may lie beyond our ideas about morality, good and evil …
