In London, during excavation work on a construction site, the so-called "witch bottle" of the 17th century was discovered. After enlightening the find, scientists discovered that inside the bottle there were hair, pins, nail clippings, and some liquid that turned out to be urine.

Previously, scientists have already found more than two hundred "witch's bottles", but the last one found was the only one that managed to survive intact. Analysis of the contents showed that the owner of the bottle smoked and was a wealthy person (judging by the length of the nails).

"Witch's bottle" was considered a very powerful and at the same time a magical means, attracting negative energy and all sorts of spells that were directed at the owner of the content. Vessels with various filling, associated with the person whom they protect, were hiding in a secluded corner of the house or even buried in the ground. It was believed that the "witch's bottle" continues to protect its owner as long as it is intact.
