The find is a massive stone with interesting patterns washed ashore with other stones as a result of a heavy downpour.

Judging by the specific form, this is clearly not a simple stone, but an ancient artifact made for a specific purpose. There is a small version that it could serve for religious purposes.

Since it weighs as much as 43 kilograms, it can be assumed that it is not a portable object, but was in a static position inside a building or temple.

Perhaps it was a decorative element or part of a column.

The author of the video puts forward a version of his connection with the altar.

To my great regret, the stone is made of soft rock, and its surface treatment does not cause much admiration, unlike the more ancient artifacts.

Although I still managed to see some oddities.

For example, an incomprehensible mesh structure on one of its surfaces.

As the author of the video noted, an image or drawing could once have been applied to the stone, which have worn off over time.

It is very interesting why the artifact was made of soft rock, if in the 18-19 centuries in Russia they could process granite at the highest level.

And many buildings were made of granite, especially in St. Petersburg.

But let's leave the questions about the material, because guessing is already useless here.

There is one more point that interested me. From the outward appearance of the find, it is easy to understand that it is either broken off or incomplete.

But on the lower part of the artifact, there are no obvious traces of breakage, although this may be due to the long exposure to water on it.

At first it seemed to me that there were no traces of breakage on the stone at all, but upon closer examination I was able to find them.

But now other questions arise. With an element from which structure are we dealing and where did the rest of its parts go? Moreover, judging by the size of this find, their parameters will not be inferior to it.

The age of the artifact also remains a question. What kind of structure could have been here earlier with such interesting decorative "columns".

Why is it not mentioned anywhere about the possible location of interesting ancient structures on this territory and no searches are carried out for them?

If you know what the artifact really is, be sure to write in the comments, it will be interesting to read.
