The building at 49 Gladilova Street, which is now divided by the Tatar Theater of Young Spectators and the Youth Musical Experimental Theater "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk", was visited by … ghost hunters.
The artists were forced to turn to specialists in anomalous phenomena due to the oddities constantly occurring in the theater. Either during the rehearsal, a piercing whistle will be heard behind the stage, then the curtains on the balconies, where there are no people, will move, then someone's invisible feet stomp past the dressing room …
Considering that the Alafuzov Palace on Gladilov Street, in which two theaters operate, is a building with a century-old history, the actors' dressing rooms are in the basements of an old mansion, and the actors themselves are people of a delicate mental organization, is it any wonder that they work under the vigilant control of an otherworldly personality? it became unbearable. So they invited experts from the regional department of Kazan-Cosmopoisk to check whether the actors should be afraid of an anomalous guest or they can negotiate a peaceful coexistence with him.
By the way, since 2007, the Alafuzov Palace has been included in the list of Kazan "haunted houses" compiled by this organization: then a group of researchers first came to the building where the Tatar Theater of Young Spectators was located and where two ghostly male silhouettes were seen. At that time, the experts limited themselves to only a cursory examination, although it became clear to them from its results that there was something here. And now, six years later, the space explorers returned here, but already armed with special equipment so that the ghost, whoever it turned out to be, would not have a single chance to escape.
To be honest, even from the very first steps in the theater, even the correspondent of Vechernyaya Kazan began to think that it looked like a haunted house much more than a temple of art. The mansion looks great only externally, but from the inside it immediately strikes the eye that it is a hundred years old at lunchtime.
In the foyer of the theater and in the auditorium, this is felt to a lesser extent, but as soon as you go down to the basement or ascend to the second floor, you start to wonder that with such damage the building has not collapsed yet. Huge cracks in the walls, collapsed ceilings, creaky crevice floors … Yes, and the theater smells the same as it smells in an abandoned house - decay and decay.

Experts, who carefully examined the premises of the theater, also felt the negativity in order to understand where the ghost lives. Ksenia Krinitsyna-Sazhina, the actress of "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk", named the storage of old costumes and props as the most likely place. This is not a very large room in the basement of the building, where the theater staff usually do not enter unnecessarily. There, the researchers installed a video camera to capture the ethereal entity. In general, in the course of the examination, the experts constantly recorded everything that was happening with the help of photo and video equipment. Then in a calm atmosphere to study the materials received.
Not without cover-ups: unexpectedly, the freshly charged batteries in the infrared night-vision camera ran out, and the lights on the stairs leading to the basement went out.
Experts explained the very dense negative energy of the basements of the palace for two reasons. Firstly. they apparently served as a morgue when the hospital was located in the mansion. And secondly, the building is located in a geopathogenic zone: an underground river passes under it.
The fact that the ghost became active for the first time in many years, experts explained a completely everyday reason: previously only the Tatar Youth Theater worked here, and the appearance of new inhabitants - "Constellation" by the decree of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan gave the building in 2012 - extremely interested in the anomalous entity and she decided to get to know better new settlers.
