Researchers of the paranormal have no longer seen analogues of the poltergeist attack on a family of Scottish settlers in Baldun, and it also completely turned the idea of scientists about the anomalous world. This nightmare was then managed not only to end with the help of magical rituals, but also to find the true culprit of the incident.
It all began in 1803, when a poor family decided to settle on vacant Canadian land with the help of Lord Thomas Selkirk, who selected land near the river and informed his countrymen that they could receive 50 acres for free. Then 102 people came here the following year, after which they had to endure the cold in tents while the houses were being erected, and many of them also died as a result of infection with malaria. The village was named Baldun and the most determined Scotsman, Daniel MacDonald, built himself a house on the outskirts, in order to later become the head of a prosperous family. His heir John also had a separate home thanks to his father, and also rejoiced at the birth of three children. The couple was happy and did not bode well until 1849, when the men left for the field and the women came to the barn to prepare straw for the products.
They enjoyed the conversation and had fun, but suddenly the pole with the objects hanging on it shifted to the side and fell, without hitting anyone. Then everyone blamed poor fastening for this, deciding to continue working, only after a similar situation with the second object they began to search the room, wanting to find a joker. The next repetition of the situation horrified the persons, after which everyone stopped running to the house, but the invisible force continued its antics. Before the women had time to catch their breath, a bullet fell at their feet, and the sound of glass shards was heard. After the indignant exclamations of the witnesses of the event, shots began to be heard from all sides and a real hail of lead fell on the floor. The neighbors inspected the room and were simply shocked by the real holes in the windows, through which bullets were flying, but inside the house something was extinguishing their hitting the target.
The husband who returned home saw such a sight, and at night he was woken up by his soul mate, who reported that steps were heard in the kitchen, but when she was examined, no one was there. After that, the MacDonalds could not sleep, hearing an invisible face approaching the bedroom, and were afraid that a ghost would appear on the threshold. Then the insolent poltergeist began to chase people during the day and scare them with regular shots that even the boards could not hold back, after which he decided to replace them with stones. When the neighbor said that he wanted to expose the intruder, he received a strong blow in the chest, and then the frightened man carried the cobblestone out into the street, but a few minutes later he was again lying in front of his eyes.
A real hell began in the house, as all objects flew around the rooms, making a terrible noise, the kettle flew off the stove and jumped without a lid on the floor, and the dagger simply stuck into the window frame. Even the dog became a victim of an evil spirit who beat her with a ladle, after which she was afraid to approach this place for several days. The sinkers in the yard for fishing were also thrown at people, and after they decided to throw them into the water, the tackle mysteriously returned back. John could not invite guests, because his weapon began suddenly firing, and also told visitors to leave their counterparts in the corners. A familiar merchant always stayed in the house of a hospitable family, and he was also not afraid of stories about evil spirits. Upon awakening, he discovered that 50 coins were missing and followed the example of his friends, who said that he needed to wait a bit.

One day the youngest son of the farmer began to scream violently, and during the examination, the father found a red-hot boulder under the child's clothes. He threw it into the river, but the situation with the return of the item was repeated. One fine day, a fire destroyed the house of a family that was forced to move in with a relative. A month later, the poltergeist decided to show himself in all his glory in a new place, so that in addition to damage to the house, animals began to die en masse, and an invisible force could raise the foundation of the building, forcing people to fly to different angles.
Eyewitnesses of the paranormal events advised the exhausted Scots to contact Dr. John Troyer, who specializes in such anomalies. The head of the family had nothing to lose, so he hit the road and met a scientist who had a 15-year-old assistant. The girl immediately reported that he refused to sell a plot of land to the neighbors, after which she accurately described the appearance of the enemies. Then she added that recently an unfamiliar goose appeared near the burnt shed, but this person takes his form and thus harms his family. It was necessary to wound him with a silver bullet, and then see what would happen. The man exactly followed all the instructions of the specialists and hit the bird in the wing, after which a human scream was heard. Then he went to the ill-wishers and saw his old neighbor clutching a shattered limb and spewing curses. She soon left this world, writhing from unbearable torment, as she was a strong witch, and the spirit stopped tormenting the family that had found peace. Now in this place there is a park with a monument telling about the real events of that time, after which scientists had to agree with the antics of ghostly guests sent to the living with the help of black magic.
