And those who consider themselves victims of "paranormalism" often have no time for jokes.

No, we are not talking about the dead, but about the souls of living people! The cost of each of them in the SoulsRUs store is $ 15. Business has been booming for six months now.
On December 18 last year, the store was registered on the Etsy private classifieds classifieds portal. Molly Gates "works" both on orders from customers and on her own initiative, hunting for the souls of famous people. So, since the opening of the store, she managed to get rid of the "soul" of Ryan Gosling, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lawrence and rapper Drake. She recently put up for sale Matthew McConaughey's "soul".
By the way, she even set a 50% discount on the “soul” of Justin Bieber, as she did not want to keep it at home for a long time. "Souls" are in transparent glass jars. They look like a pink-colored substance with sparkles, which resembles cotton candy. Each container is provided with a sticker with the name of the person to whom the “soul” belonged. Molly does not disclose the specifics of the "soul" extraction technology. She told the journalists only that she kidnaps them when their owners are sleeping, with the help of some cunning trick … She also said that she learned to steal souls in childhood. Poltergeist to boot
Some people believe that they have suffered serious damage as a result of the paranormal activity and now they would like to receive compensation.
In 1989, New Yorker Jeffrey Stambovski bought a house in the village of Nayek. He signed a contract with the former owner Helen Ackley, according to which he had to pay money for the house in installments within a year.
After the buyer made the first installment, he suddenly heard rumors that the house was "unclean" and that there were ghosts. The former owner and the realtors hired by her simply kept silent about this fact, although, as it turned out, both Helen herself and her family members had repeatedly encountered paranormal phenomena in their home.
In particular, in the period from 1977 to 1989, the Reader's Digest published the stories of Mrs. Ackley about encounters with ghosts three times. For example, she argued, a certain mystical entity woke her up every morning by shaking the bed. The paranormal house even caught the attention of tourists.
Upon learning of this, Stambovski filed a lawsuit to annul the contract for the purchase of the property. He demanded compensation for damage caused by "fraudulent concealment of facts about the subject of the transaction." But the lawsuit was dismissed by the Supreme Court of the State of New York on the grounds that information about the poltergeist was actively published in the press, which means that the previous owner did not intend to conceal the facts that prevented the sale of the house. However, when Stambovski appealed the decision, the appellate court nevertheless recognized that he was entitled to compensation for damages.
UFO lawsuit
On the evening of December 29, 1980, two Texas residents, Betty Cash and Vicki Landrum, and the latter's grandson, seven-year-old Colby, were driving north of Houston, when they suddenly saw a hexagonal object hovering over the forest, emanating a glow.
Getting out of the car to see the UFO better, the women felt a strong heat emanating from it, from which even the hood lid was heated … Soon military helicopters appeared, they surrounded the object and disappeared from sight with it.
Upon returning home, all three of them felt unwell. Betty Cash was particularly hard hit. She began to have migraines, diarrhea, her hair began to fall out, her eyes turned red, she experienced an incomprehensible anxiety state and even hallucinated. Her friend and the boy showed the same symptoms, but in a milder form.
On someone's advice, the women turned to the Law Office of Legal Complaints, sued the US Air Force and demanded compensation of $ 20 million for the physical damage caused to them, since, according to them, the helicopters of the American army became the cause of the painful condition. The lawsuit lasted until 1986. Ultimately, the claim was dismissed by the District Court, which found the plaintiffs' version unproven.
Chupacabra hunting
Recently, a member of the Kyrgyz parliament, Dastan Zhumabekov, at a regular meeting raised the problem of the appearance in the Kochkor district of the Naryn region of a mysterious creature, allegedly attacking livestock at night. Zhumabekov said that local residents turned to him with a complaint about an unknown animal, which they consider to be a mythical Chupacabra.
The first reports of Chupacabra appeared in Puerto Rico. According to eyewitnesses, the creature, which did not resemble any known species, attacked livestock at night, but did not eat animals, but sucked their blood. Hence the name "chupacabra" - "sucking goats".
Curiously, the Chupacabra has almost never been caught. Having collected a harvest of victims, it seemed to evaporate, which gave rise to rumors that this is an entity from a parallel world. Some have linked the Chupacabra to alien intelligence, believing that aliens take blood from animals for medical scientific purposes.
Perhaps this would have remained at the level of myths and legends, if such cases in the mid-90s of the last century had not begun to occur all over the world. Chupacabra has been seen in various countries of Central and Latin America. The wave has come to the states of the former CIS. In the 2000s, reports about the mysterious creature flashed in the Ukrainian press. Chupacabra was allegedly observed in Ternopil, Lvov, Cherkassk, Chernigov, Kiev and Kharkov regions. Mostly the beast strangled rabbits, but attacks on humans were also reported.
In the fall of 2010, rumors about the Chupacabra arose in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. In the spring of 2011, similar cases were observed in the Kyzylorda region of Kazakhstan. But this time, the injured residents of the Tasbuget village managed to drive the alleged Chupacabra into a trap and kill her. The monster looked like a jackal, although it had very long legs …
Cases of attacks on livestock also occurred in other regions of Kazakhstan. For example, in the Mangistau region, several dozen sheep were destroyed overnight.
The Kyrgyz authorities took the news of the Chupacabra quite seriously. For each killed animal, it was promised to pay 5000 soms. And the plenipotentiary representative of the government in the Naryn region, Amanbai Kayypov, announced that an emergency headquarters had been created, whose tasks include the capture of the Chupacabra. According to the head of the local Internal Affairs Directorate Narynbek Moldoisayev, special night shifts were organized in order to catch the terrible beast.
“We went to the Kochkor region and, together with the hunting union, began shooting stray dogs,” Moldoisaev said. - They also asked the regional kazyat (analogue of the diocese. - Note, ed.) To set traps in the cemeteries … We are working on the extermination of an unknown creature.
In addition to the police and hunters, representatives of religious organizations also entered the headquarters: the latter claim that the Chupacabra is actually a harbinger of the coming end of the world and special prayers are required to capture it.
