It is tempting to view the distant past through the prism of myths. I ask your opponents not to be too zealous, because the author himself is not sure of his conclusions based on ancient legends.
The pre-chronicle history has been preserved in the literary adaptations of ancient authors and in folk epics.

Greek thinkers called that people Hyperboreans, and report that they had close contact with them, even learned from them. They also adopted something in religion. The ancients were convinced that the Greek sun god Apollo and his sister, the hunting goddess Artemis, were from distant Hyperborea. Their mother Leto lived here before moving to Greece. The Hyperborean women helped Leto be released from the burden and give birth to Artemis and Apollo. For some time, Apollo lived among the Hyperboreans and there he acquired the prophetic gift, although, according to myths, he did not possess this gift from birth.
Herodotus, Diodorus, Democritus, Pliny directly asserted that their Greek civilization was "grown" by the Hyperborean, more ancient and highly developed.
The Greeks in their myths sent Apollo to Hyperborea for wisdom on a silver arrow, and the people were taught by the Hyperboreans Abaris and Aristeus, the servants of Apollo. The enlighteners possessed the gift of clairvoyance, endowed people with cultural values with music, philosophy, introduced them to the art of creating poems, hymns, participated in the construction of the Delphic Temple with the symbolic center of the world, Omphal.

Such a mythological legacy gave rise to the desire to find out where this earthly paradise was, if of course it existed in reality.

The supporters of Hyperborea, as usual, had opponents.
The idea is expressed that for several centuries swindlers in the person of the Druids instilled in the Greeks the myth of a country that did not exist in reality. However, this version does not explain the emergence of myths about an unknown northern country in ancient Indian and Persian epics (in Indian legends - Mahabharata, Rigveda, Purana, in Persian - Avesta, etc.). Similar myths are known among the modern peoples of the north of Russia. And paleoclimatologists have obtained interesting information. The results of well analyzes showed that in the period from 130 to 70 thousand years ago, the north had a warm climate.
The real possibility of the existence of an unknown northern civilization begins to be seen. But according to the dating of the fertile climate, this supposed culture is clearly not a contemporary of the ancient Greeks.
World ocean level. Chronology
Mythological dictionaries call Hyperborea and its people mythical. The famous Mercator card adds riddles. The map was published in the 16th century, but when the topographic survey was carried out is unclear. For many thousands of years, the state of the Arctic Ocean has been significantly different from the map.
Over the past 500 thousand years, four great glaciations have occurred on earth. Even 30 thousand years ago, the thickness of the glacier at the latitude of Kiev reached two kilometers, as it is today in Antarctica. In Europe, this last glacier began to melt about 18 thousand years ago.
Geochronologists have drawn up a graph of possible changes in the level of the World Ocean. About 30 thousand years ago, thanks to the glaciation of the planet, the level of the World Ocean dropped by 100 meters! In the future, it slowly increased and about 15 thousand years ago rose immediately by 20 meters. Finally, about 7 thousand years ago, the ocean level abruptly rose by another 6 meters and remains approximately at this mark to this day.
All changes in the level of the World Ocean are associated with ecological and climatic disasters, which are described in the myths and legends of the peoples of the world.
As you can see, the legendary global flood took place in history, which means that it could actually flood the Hyperborea of Mercator. According to the established dates, the period of the warm climate of the north and the beginning of the last glaciation are quite consistent. It remains a mystery when the authors of this knowing map lived.
Two versions suggest themselves. The first - information about the Hyperboreans came to the ancient Greeks already in the form of myths of other peoples. The same happened in Asia. Someone brought their own epic and over time it acquired a local flavor. The second version - if we agree that Hyperborea was in reality, then it should be sought not in the north.
Where did the silver arrow take Apollo?
The earliest dating of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi is the 2nd millennium BC. But at this time in the north the fertile islands have long since drowned, and the climate has changed. Only the modern rocky islands and the coastline of the continent with permafrost remain. It is unlikely that it came to Apollo's mind to fly with ice, and what's the point - everything interesting is already at the bottom. What then served as the basis for the myths, is it just the eternal dream of rivers of milk with jelly banks?
Real footprints and myths
Based on the generalization of ethnographic and historical material, Ph. D. S. V. Zharnikova localized the ancestral home of the Indo-Aryan peoples between the White Sea and the Northern Urals and from the east and west the Ural Mountains and the Scandinavian Peninsula.
St. Petersburg scientists visited the uninhabited islands of the White Sea and discovered sanctuaries and pyramids. Whose? Who is the builder?
After the end of the Great Patriotic War, secret harbors of German submarines, located in stone grottoes, were discovered along the northern sea route. The Germans used ready-made grottoes. In 2000, a megalithic sanctuary dedicated to the sun god was found on the highest plateau of the Khibiny. The members of the expedition claim that the central element of the sanctuary is like two peas in a pod similar to Omphale in the temple of Apollo in Delphi. Russian researchers called the find "Kola Omphal".
It was here, according to the supporters of northern Hyperborea, that the people were formed, which became the progenitor of many nations. Those who reached the Sayan and Altai laid the foundation for the Turkic peoples; who remained on the territory of Eastern Europe became the basis of the Indo-European peoples, including the Slavs. An indirect confirmation of this is the myths of the Indo-Iranians, who tell about the light-faced sages who came from behind the northern mountains, and even a complete coincidence of the DNA of modern Russians with the DNA of 100 million Indian men. We have one ancestor with the Indians, the same one who lived 5000 ± 200 years ago on the Russian plain and in the steppes of southern Russia.

Despite the scant information of historians looking for Hyperborea in the Arctic, the ancient world had extensive ideas about the life of the Hyperboreans.
Pythias - who are they
And here are the myths about direct contacts of the Greeks with the Hyperboreans.
A number of legends are associated with the bringing of the harvest to the island of Delos to Apollo by the Hyperboreans. After the girls, sent with gifts, did not return home, the Hyperboreans began to leave gifts at the Greek border (Plin. Nat. Hist. IV 26; Herodot. IV 32 - 34). By the way, this arbitrariness over someone else's freedom is not the first thing that happened in Delphi. The first priests of his temple were appointed by Apollo himself. The Cretan sailors who sailed past the island of Delos became the attendants.
Now let's take a closer look at the legends
The Greeks endowed the Hyperboreans with the gift of clairvoyance. The surviving Slavic sources say that their priests also possessed this gift.
Based on the foregoing and considering that all this happens after the global flood, when Hyperborea is no longer in the north, we have the right to see the Slavs in the farmers bringing gifts to the Greeks. Historian Rybakov and geneticist Klyosov have noticed these workers in Europe 5 thousand years ago. Various Greek sources describe the Scythian farmers living in the Black Sea and North Caucasian steppes. Interesting Scythians. Some call them nomads, and then others - sedentary farmers, who very much look like the Slavs. The Greeks did not really think about the identification of their barbarian neighbors.
Here is the answer, who were and where did the girls with the gifts go. Stolen Hyperborees, i.e. Slavs, forcibly left to serve as Pythias in the Delphic temple of Apollo for predictions, or tried to get children from them with a hereditary gift of prophecy.
And on the Internet there is one hackneyed disc: "Greek women of low class were Pythias!" We read myths. The first pythias were virgins. After the seduction of the young priestess, local old women began to be appointed pythias.
Greek women predicted only in a state of drug intoxication from the gas escaping from the crevice of the mountain in the temple of Apollo. And the Hyperborean girls apparently could predict without drugs, and therefore they paid with freedom.
Before being assigned to work in the Temple of Apollo, local women were required to pass a qualification casting. Not every applicant had the necessary data for divination. These details are reported by Plutarch, who himself was for some time a minister of the temple at Delphi.
The clairvoyant gas at the Temple of Apollo on the island of Delos was recently investigated by American scientists. The result was published in the journal "Geology". It is a mixture of hydrocarbon gases with a large proportion of ethylene. Inhaling such a mixture, any person falls into a trance and utters all sorts of words. Delphic gases have the strongest narcotic effect on women. Now it is clear why the ladies were chosen to divine.
Delphic phenomenon
The Pythias predicted 1400 years. For quackery without exposure, something is too much. The last of the prophecies the Delphic oracle gave in 392 AD - "adopted Christianity will destroy the Roman Empire." The collapse of the empire, as you know, began in 395, i.e. three years after the prophecy.
Modern scientists have developed a different version of the Delphic Oracle phenomenon from the conventional point of view (OTZ). Researchers believe that our planet is surrounded by an energy information field, which contains everything that was and everything that will be. Modern philosophers explain this with a simple passage. Information resides in an environment where there is no concept of time. Information is simply there, and no time is required for its existence. Information about the future is stored alongside the past and the present. It's all about how to connect to this wealth.
Today we know contemporaries who received the gift of clairvoyance from nature. They talked about current events, about the past and predicted the future. These are Wolf Messing, Wanga, Djuna Davitashvili. And you yourself will name many such names. No mysticism or fantasy. Of course, among psychics there are also falsifiers, too much a place of bread. But there are also those who are not exposed, but on the contrary are asked to help, even state power structures, for example, in the course of counter-terrorist operations.
The informational shell of the Earth is huge. By connecting to such a field, an untrained person will be in mortal danger. And indeed the Pythias did not have a long century, apparently not only because of the inhalation of narcotic gases. But scientists are convinced that with proper preparation, anyone could "connect" to this information field without drugs and without risking their lives, as, for example, the Slavic priests did. It should not be forgotten that history knows examples when ancient technologies were used in the 20th century, after their re-discovery.
Pythagoras: name and study
Here is another fulfilled prophecy of the Oracle in Delphi.
A poetic Slavic legend is known about how the Pythia of the Temple of Apollo, a Slav woman, breaking a celibate dinner, gave birth to a boy who later took the name Pythagoras.
The birth of Pythagoras was predicted by the Delphic oracle. In the prophecy, Pythagoras is called "the great son of the sun god Apollo." A very piquant prophecy confirming the Slavic legend.
There is a legend according to which Pythagoras himself took a name for himself, showing whom he revered as his parents. Pythia and the Egyptian sun god Horus. What does the Egyptian god have to do with it? Well, firstly, Horus is the same sun god and in him Pythagoras saw his sun god - Apollo. And, secondly, Pythagoras studied in Egypt, where, apparently, he made a name for himself. Pythagoras studied for over 40 years in different countries of Asia and Africa.
What knowledge Greece gained in the person of Pythagoras beyond its borders is beyond count, among them the Vedas and clairvoyance, the culture of the Chaldeans and Persian magicians, the highest Brahmic and yogic initiation in India.
Returning home, Pythagoras founded his spiritual school. A whole direction of his followers in Greek culture is known - the Pythagoreans.
The first census of the Slavs.
Let's return to the gifts brought to Greece by the Hyperborean virgins. I wonder where those gifts came from, and in what ways.
The amazing northern civilization has been at the bottom of the ocean for many millennia, and supposedly its people walk across Europe with gifts. Who is this people who have preserved information about the ancient and powerful; surviving descendants or their students? Among the known religions, only one Veda calls the whole people relatives of the gods - these are the Slavs. They are the grandchildren of God Yes.
The Slavs appear in the arena of history "unexpectedly" for historians, simultaneously on a vast territory, having one language and one religious culture. That culture, which contains echoes of the ancient knowledge of the Hyperboreans. The settlement of the Proto-Slavs in the vastness of Eurasia is seen by linguists, and now by geneticists.
History does not know of any mass migrations of the population from south to north at the beginning of the second millennium AD, not a single chronicle about that or gu-gu. Only from the middle of the 12th century did the roads begin to be created between Kiev and Suzdal. And before that? Only Apollo on his arrow and flew along the route Delphi - North Pole - Delphi.
Or maybe his route was different? Indeed, it was not from the Arctic Ocean that the Hyperboreans Abaris and Aristey came to Greece, and future gifts for the Greeks did not ripen among the ice hummocks.
Here's another conclusion.
Since the ancient peoples, including the Greeks, saw Hyperborea, and in the vastness of the Arctic for tens of thousands of years there has been nothing but ice, it means that we were looking for a fertile country in the wrong place.
Key to Hyperborea
According to the historian V. Rybnikov, the ancient Greeks, speaking about Hyperborea, looked at the eastern coast of the Black Sea. The Argonauts sailed there, enduring many hardships. Apparently it was worth it.
Rybnikov's Black Sea version includes what is missing in the Arctic. What are we talking about? About the name of the country itself Hyperborea.
In mythological dictionaries, Boreas is the god of the north wind, the Greeks placed his dwelling in Thrace in the coastal area of Salmides. Today it is the Black Sea coast of the states of Bulgaria and Ukraine, which arose on the ancient Slavic lands. This is where and who brought gifts to the Greeks for Apollo. And here it is - the hyper_power of the usual cliches. The Russian Arctic has nothing to do with it. If there was something and once in the vastness of the North, then certainly not Hyperborea.
And here he is the key to the gates of the mysterious country. The word Borey, which in the northern version is found only among the Greeks, but unexpectedly resonates on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus. Residents of the Krasnodar Territory call the strong northwest wind boron.
Sailing to the east of the Black Sea, the sailors of Hellas also fell into storms with the wind boreas. Strong Boreas is Greek and will be Hyperborean. Reaching the coast of the Caucasus, they fell into the country behind this wind. So we sailed to the shores of the fertile country of Hyperborea.
Based on the given coordinates, Rybnikov found both the place and the rock to which Prometheus was chained for disobeying Zeus. This rock was very accurately described by Aeschylus in his poem "Prometheus Chained". The rock stands in the vicinity of Gelendzhik near the village of Praskoveevka. Locals call this rock Sail. A truly legendary place. Nearby is the sunken (again sunken) ancient city of Dioscuria.
The author of these lines in 1961 referred to those ancient sunken walls in the Sukhum Bay. And this is definitely not a myth or a mirage, because the Abkhazian city of Sukhum and the remains of the ancient walls of Dioscuria are on the shore.
The first teacher of the Aryans - Prometheus
And now from the myths: Someone named Deucalion escaped from the Flood. The father of this Deucalion was none other than Prometheus himself! The Caucasus was very well known to the Greeks. Ancient writers left many stories about the Caucasus.
In the famous Journey of the Argonauts, some "Apian Arcadians" are mentioned. Api is the name of the goddess of the earth among the Scythians who lived in the Black Sea and North Caucasian steppes.
Geology says that at the end of the 4th millennium BC. as a result of a tremendous catastrophe, land in the region of the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus and Dardanelles sank. Streams poured into the Black Sea, raising the sea level by 50 meters. Crimea as a peninsula, and even the Sea of Azov, in addition, was formed just at the breakthrough of the world ocean into the Black Sea through the Dardanelles. Only those who were near the Caucasus Mountains could be saved. For the sufferers, it was truly a blessed land.
Geology gives us a time marker for the emergence of myths about Prometheus, and at the same time the myth about the Sumer Gilgamesh and his Flood, which turns out to be 700 years older than the biblical one.
This Dardanelles flood suggests looking for the place where Atlantis died in the Black Sea. In addition, the historical Antes and mythical Atlantes lived in these places. But the inhabitants of the Canary Islands and other places do not remember the Atlanteans. By the way, even in times close to us, the tallest knights of Western Europe barely grew up to 165 cm. Against such a background, tall Slavs look like Atlanteans. No wonder the monk of Sergius of Radonezh, in the past a warrior, bore the worldly nickname Oslyabya (Zherd).
Ancient university
The previously mentioned Scythian farmers, that is, the Slavs, lived at one time in the North Caucasian steppes. Here their priests could learn from Prometheus or from his students. What would have prevented this? And when the Greeks knew about that education, then Apollo on an arrow and the Argonauts on a ship went here to the Blessed Land. There were more and more people who wanted to learn, that's why Prometheus sent his best students from among the Hyperboreans, i.e. Slavs, teach the Greeks.
In the Caucasus, the Greeks found their colonies, and the Scythian farmers bring gifts or rather trade with the Greek colony in Dioscuria and Torik - modern Gelendzhik. And nothing surprising or mythical about it. The Slavs traded with Greece in reality, but what did they trade? Bread since time immemorial. Herodotus also wrote in his History:
According to Herodotus, this happened 3 thousand years ago. In those days, neither the Scythians nor the Finno-Finns were engaged in agriculture, especially for export. It was our ancestors, the Slavs, who were noted in history, this time by the Greeks.
Myths are myths, but somehow everything starts to look simpler if Hyperborea is placed on the shores of the Black Sea and the northern Caucasus, on the lands where the Slavs lived.
Writing of Prometheus' students
This is an epitaph on the ancient mausoleum at Fort Shevchenko on the Mangyshlak Peninsula. Further, I will simply quote the words of the researcher V. Rybnikov:
“There are 16 letters in the inscription. 10 of them are the prototypes of the letters of the Brahmi alphabet, 4 letters are Proto-Slavonic and 2 are the prototypes of the Phoenician letters corresponding to modern Russian T and K.

The inscription is Indo-European, Aryan, the time of the origin of the Proto-Slavonic language; the Slavs are direct descendants of the Aryans; Aryans in those days already had their own alphabet, which should be called Eurasian. The brahmi alphabets, the Phoenician, the eastern variety of ancient Greek, the Pelasgian rune, the ancient Greek and Latin alphabets, originated from the Eurasian alphabet as the basis.
As you can see, many students came to Prometheus University. So what? The descendants of the Aryans, the Slavs, could not inherit the alphabet of their ancestors, but the entire enlightened world could? Again we see an omnipotent hyperstamp in our historiography.
Another conclusion
All Greek myths about Hyperborea speak of a blessed land of happy and wise people. The epics of India, Persia and the northern peoples of Russia tell about serious military operations that led to climatic and geological disasters. The wise and happy, it seems, should not fight. Moreover, with such consequences. There is reason to believe that we are dealing with two groups of myths that tell about different civilizations.
Probably, in more ancient times, there was another Blessed Land of the Gods with a name other than Hyperborea, and possibly in the warm Arctic with a low ocean level. What happened then and then?

On the Danube, in the steppes of the Crimea and the foothills of the Caucasus, beyond the habitats of the wind of Borey, there live Slavs, called by the Greeks - Hyperboreans. In the biography of the god Apollo, we see the father of Zeus and his mother the titanide Leto. The role of midwives at the birth of Apollo was performed by Hyperborean women.
Zeus, performing global work, did not stoop to the process of giving birth to his son, however, Zeus did not shy away from either titans or descendants of titans. One way or another, they all found their place on Olympus. But relations with the willful Prometheus did not work out. For the sake of personal power over people, he did not keep the great knowledge of his civilization a secret. Maybe the card of Mercator is right, and the gods really lived in the north. And the famous northern myths reflect the actual struggle of the titans of Chronos with the ambitions of Zeus for power on Earth. Ancient civilizations crossed their terrible weapons, which led to glaciation and subsequent floods. Such a jackpot left no room for concern for the fate of people and the planet.

"Enlightenment casts out prejudice." American Henry Ford gave this advice to everyone who wants to know the world. We are surrounded by a sea of information, and for this, God gave people reason to distinguish between delusions and outright lies from the seeds of truth.
Our problem is that we do not read much literature. Some have never even heard of the teachers Abaris and Aristea from Hyperborea, the teachers who taught "themselves" the ancient Greeks.
The Aryans, including the Slavs, Greeks and the Greek god Apollo, studied together the thoughts of Prometheus from the titan. Then why should we consider that Cyril and Methodius were the first teachers of the descendants of the Aryans?
