And if you read him, you are probably convinced that he just knew how to see - better and more sighted. Another proof of the truth of Borges' aphorism is the story of the Fortis research team.
Two encounters with the supernatural
Just like all the best on earth - friendship, love, talent - a real vocation comes to a person by itself: either for a long time, step by step, sneaks up through the years, professions, distances, convictions, or - bursts into life, like a fresh wind, one has only to open the window … And it also happens that a person, like Peer Gynt, meets his true vocation at every crossroads of fate. He misses one, another, a third chance - and finally, suddenly, unlike the crazy Ibsen hero, he takes a decisive step - into the country of his future, to the heights of his success.
A real vocation is something that never becomes work, something that obeys the only laws - higher forces and creativity, which constitutes the fate of a person and fills his life with meaning.
This is exactly what happened in the life of Igor Antonov, the head of the Fortis research team. The first meeting with the inexplicable happened at the age of 15. Anton's mother has a friend, a clairvoyant, who has devoted her whole life to healing. At that time, she asked for help:
“I fought death and won: I managed to prolong the life of two doomed people. But having violated the law of higher powers, I paid the price - I lost my gift. For several months, while the clairvoyant's abilities were recovering, she worked with Igor. She explained to the teenager how to tune in: and - how the internal organs of patients who came to the reception appeared on the screen in front of his mind's eye. But more and more often the feeling of so complete, I would even say - ideal - loneliness overcame, as if I was completely alone in an airless space … Emptiness, meaninglessness of existence, as it seemed to him at that time, led to illness. We will not name the diagnosis, but this disease is very common today, despite all the measures to combat it. Not the point.
The disease progressed. Traditional medicine turned out to be powerless, doctors shrugged their shoulders and advised to look for a healer. Mother rushed in search - and in the end, after a year and a half of unsuccessful attempts! - found a healer in the far suburbs.
Igor went to her in the most skeptical mood. “Your life will change after a course of treatment,” said the healer. - You will meet special people, and together with them you will begin to unravel ancient mysteries. You will have glory, success, recognition. Only keep the Good in your soul. You have it. Don't lose it. “I'm a lawyer,” Igor almost laughed in her face. - What are the ancient secrets? Riddles of ancient Roman law, or what ?!”.
At that time, he did not even believe in the possibility of a cure. But the healer was not offended: “And so that you do not make a mistake at the turn of life, I will tell you the most important thing. Soon you will meet a girl - and from her you will find out who brought the disease to you. And then she will introduce you to some people who …”- at this the healer stopped short, apparently believing that it was not worth telling everything in advance.
Contrary to skeptical forecasts, the disease was defeated. No matter how much Igor and his parents thought, whoever could bring such a thing, nothing worked out. But the problem was eliminated - and they forgot about it.
Forgot - but not quite. The meeting with a miracle did not pass without a trace for Igor: he got carried away with the search and put together a team of guys, with whom he quite successfully "dug in the war." However, shell casings, bullet holes in helmets and rotted sapper blades, which are found in abundance by military search engines, soon got bored. And the stories of fellow diggers about undeveloped warehouses and whole mountains of military treasures in fact turned out to be fantastic. In historical digging - the search for coins and antiques - there were no comrades.

Major meetings always happen by chance. Igor Antonov was the person who responded to my ad “looking for comrades to go on a historical treasure hunt”. By that time, I, the author of two treasure-hunting books, had become disillusioned with digging tales, in which all possible multicolored fictions are wound on the everyday canvas of difficult and, most often, unrewarded expeditions. “Let it be, even though it’s not a valuable coin at all,” I thought, “but what if it’s possible to unravel the story of its loss, find a truthful and interesting plot?”

When we met, something incredible happened: almost in the very first hour of the conversation, Igor, without understanding why, told about his experience of working with a healer, a friend of his mother, and about the induced illness, as well as about the words of the healer who healed him. "And you still don't know who corrupted you?" - I was amazed. The idea to organize a research team came to us at the same time. As always, probably, the best ideas come by themselves - as if from above or from space, as it is more convenient for someone to count. Frankly, they did not think long about the name: Fortis: Strength. Because both studied Latin during their student years, and also because they wanted to create, first of all, a strong team. And we are deeply convinced that if there is strength (strength of mind, physical strength and fitness, strength of talent, strength of knowledge and strength of conviction), then everything will work out.

The Fortis team took as a basic principle of work the need to consider any inexplicable phenomenon from the point of view of a variety of specialists: from a clairvoyant to a physicist, from a historian to a healer, from a simple digger to an archaeologist, from a ufologist and futurologist to an expert astronomer. We explore the mysteries of history and legends about treasures, anomalous and geopathogenic zones, unexplained celestial phenomena, including the likelihood of seeing UFOs and contacting aliens, we are also interested in finding artifacts and explaining ancient superstitions, signs, rituals of magic.
In a word, any phenomenon where there is a mystery, any historical or eyewitness testimony of any riddle is a reason for our team to organize an expedition and begin a comprehensive study. We secured the consent of several scientists, if necessary, to travel with us for research, as well as the friendly disposition of experts (for example, in mineralogy).
I invited the famous ufologist Yuri Senkin to participate in our research, with whom very interesting projects have been done before (several years ago - a series of radio programs about the unknown). Igor's acquaintances, which were established by the nature of his activity in some archives, are also constantly useful. Well, and, of course, my writers' connections: for example, good relations with the staff of the Nekrasov Library, which also has a very rich archive.
Kulibin's gift
Perhaps, it is worth noting a significant amount of luck in the Fortis research project: we have never had to, as they say, “run after miracles,” let alone invent them. As a matter of fact, the first meeting with a real geopathogenic zone happened by chance: we wanted to see what was left of the ancient quarries in the forest in Lytkarino, and whether it was possible to get there.
The sensations that befell us in the geopathogenic zone forced us to approach the issue from a scientific point of view. It was well known to us that our predecessors in this area had already taken measurements with the help of various instruments, worked with a compass, a pendulum and dowsing frames.
Our ufologist Yuri Senkin, having thoroughly checked the geopathogenic zone, came to the conclusion that if cosmic energies were present in these places, it was a very long time ago (at least a millennium ago), and the probability of seeing a UFO here is extremely low. This means that extraterrestrial causes of the formation of a geopathogenic zone, if any, do not play a decisive role.
To go beyond their predecessors in their research, new devices were needed. As one wonderful American TV series says: "All inventions are made in garages." This is especially true for Russia. Igor came up with and created a fairly simple device, the principle of operation of which is close to the work of dowsing frames.
And then he turned to his good friend, who had worked all his life in a closed defense research institute, just to show his invention. The scientist praised, laughed a little and - a couple of weeks later presented an improved copy. This device is tuned to a single operator - in this case, the head of the Fortis team, Igor Antonov: he reads his microcurrents and reacts to their changes.
Naturally, when an operator with a connected device enters the zones of anomalous energy, the device accurately detects and records changes in microcurrents. Anomalous and geopathogenic zones that we encountered during expeditions are also constantly surveyed with the participation of volunteers. For example, in the same Lytkarino, we were amazed that, unlike healthy people, many people suffering from chronic diseases feel a rise in physical and mental strength.
A little later, through numerous experiments, we found out that, it turns out, geopathogenic zones, one of the proven properties of which is the ability to "draw" energy from a person, primarily negative, which gives the patient relief. Of course, provided that the patient is able to tune in and release exactly negative microcurrents.
Research is ongoing
Also empirically (we took groups of volunteers to places of power), it was found that if there is a “minus zone” - a geopathogenic or abnormal zone in which people have a faster heart rate, shortness of breath, pressure rises, weakness, dizziness and other symptoms of deterioration appear, then not far from it (either very close, or in a straight line no further than 5-10 km) there will certainly be an equally powerful "plus zone".
A place where any person feels a surge of energy, special tone and inspiration. 30-40 minutes of simple physical exercises together with meditation in the "plus zone" give a feeling of vigor and health for several days, or even weeks, help solve psychological problems and make many chronic diseases recede. People of different ages traveled with us, including those suffering from chronic diseases, as well as those who dream of losing excess weight. And places of power (or, if you prefer, "plus zones") showed excellent results.
One of the goals of the Fortis team is to comprehensively and deeply study the energies with which our entire world is full and interconnected, with the help of which our planet interacts with the Cosmos and with the living creatures that inhabit it. And in ancient manuscripts on alchemy, we found a mention of one mineral that can dramatically change its properties when it is in the zone of anomalous energy.
This mineral reacts to geopathogenic zones, and to zones of powerful emissions of positive energy, and simply to an increased background of energy stress - and it always reacts in different ways. For several months we collected all its varieties until we found … the same one. And he immediately went to the laboratory where our friend works. And now a unique device came out from under his talented hands.
