On February 26, 1918, a New York newspaper published an article with mysterious photographs. However, the very note accompanying them was not entirely ordinary, it said that a man's corpse was found in a metal pipe, the length of which was about 1.7 meters.
Journalists gave this strange "sarcophagus" no less fantastic name - "space tube". This name for the pipe was chosen by the workers of the pen not by chance, since a very surprising object was discovered near the scene. It is clear to us today that he could just be a control panel or a mobile phone. A hundred years ago, he was identified as the control device for the "space tube" in which a dead man was found.
By the way, this man completely fit in this mysterious "pipe", because he had a relatively small stature. Some journalists then even suggested that this is a time traveler, and the fantastic device that was found near him is from the future, which makes it impossible to identify it or even somehow understand what it is.
Who was the man from the "space tube" and how he got to New York is still not established. Journalists of that newspaper at the beginning of the last century did not report anything about the fate of this time traveler, however, as well as any details about his mysterious structure. However, today it would be interesting to know where it all went, because the newspaper photographs are genuine, and journalists, at best, can exaggerate something when it comes to murder, but never make up such a story "from" to "to".
This information allows us to make two assumptions:
Firstly, time travel is periodically recorded in the press, it is enough to recall, in addition to this case, the hype in New York newspapers about how in June 1950 a certain Rudolph Fetz, a young man in clothes of the XIX century, was hit and killed by a car in Times Square century. The police investigation then showed that he also had money, a letter dated 1876, business cards and many other things that had not aged in 74 years, as if by some miracle he moved from the past in an instant, and appeared (on his misfortune) in front of a moving car, which is why he was hit and killed. This means that such travels, in spite of all their seeming fantasy, nevertheless took place in the history of mankind, which means that in principle they are possible;
secondly, the US authorities already then quickly took possession of all the "material evidence" of such miracles, and this evidence was lost somewhere in the hiding places of either the military departments, or secret scientific institutions, but for some reason did not bring any benefit to anyone - neither for the United States itself, nor for human society in general. Unfortunately, such a vicious practice is still used throughout the world, and therefore the true picture of the world remains a closed book for most people.
