The human brain is a very mysterious organ, because it is he who forms a person as he is. There are so many secrets, legends, myths around the brain that their number cannot even be counted. Despite the high level of medicine, it still has not been possible to unravel the mysteries of the brain. It is reliably known that the real capabilities of the human brain go far beyond what has been studied.

Surprisingly, many people experience a slowdown in the development of intelligence after graduation from school and higher educational institutions. This in no way suggests that a person becomes stupid with age, just the development of the brain's abilities, over time, slows down. The most negative result of this: there is a complete stop in development and personality degradation begins. To prevent this from happening, constant brain training is required. With continuous training, an active blood supply to the cerebral cortex occurs, which in turn stimulates memory and increases intelligence. With memory impairment, it is necessary to take measures to improve intellectual abilities.

Despite the critical remarks about computer games, these entertainment can be considered a simulator for the brain: the reaction speed increases, memory improves, etc. It has been established that when a person examines an image that is interesting for himself, the blood flow in the back of the brain increases (this is where visual centers). At the same time, the capillary network of the actively functioning part of the brain expands.

It is a well-known fact that often intense sports activities negatively affect intelligence. This is because exercise increases blood flow in some local areas of the brain, thereby not maintaining the required level of blood flow in unclaimed brain areas. And for the brain to function effectively, it is necessary to maintain the proportionality of the blood supply to as many brain regions as possible. This is all the more important, because with a reduced blood supply, brain neurons can die off, and this is irreversible and cannot be restored.

Of particular interest is such an important human ability as intuition. Imagine that the most important decisions could be made without using information and analytics of events and data, but using only intuition! They say that you can increase your intuitive abilities by regular meditation (at least 10 minutes a day). It is believed that intuition is the result of accumulated individual experience, which allows predicting future events. And the most important thing, in this case, is the stability of the surrounding world: then intuition works much better and the work of the brain is quite stable.

Also, one should not neglect such an important component for brain health as good sleep. It is in a dream that a person remembers and analyzes everything that happened to him during the day.

It turned out that with the help of thought you can influence the outside world. Scientists claim that a person's blood pressure rises when he lies. In addition, the same reaction of the body and the one who is next to him and understands that his interlocutor is lying. This confirms that the thinking of one person affects those around them, which means that the brain is able to work in resonance with the surrounding world.

Another side of the brain is the ability of a person to think abstractly and the ability to establish non-obvious connections between, externally unrelated, events.

The brain "knows how" itself to dose the level of its work: from the lowest to the most intense. It turns on to the maximum when it is necessary to solve a complex problem or urgently find a way out of a seemingly deadlock situation. The reason for such an economical work of the brain is that the essence of the work of the whole human body is reduced to minimizing energy costs, and the brain is the most "expensive" and energy-consuming organ. Therefore, the brain, most often, is in "sleeping" mode until a short-term need for its work arises. Everyone knows that the most gifted people try to avoid prolonged intellectual stress, and to solve a standard situation, the brain does not require large energy consumption.

In fact, there are a myriad of methods to stimulate the brain and empower it. Here are some of them:

- solve puzzles and logic tasks;

- work with the left hand for right-handedness and with the right hand for left-handedness;

- get interested in optical illusions;

- block one of the sensations for a short time: try to eat while blindfolded;

- try to find a connection between things that, at first glance, do not have an intersection;

- learn to type on the keyboard with your eyes closed;

- come up with new ways to use seemingly quite ordinary things (for example, a hundred ways to use a nail);

- change your ideas about events and things to the opposite;

- even having received the "correct" answer, try to mentally go further in the solution;

- consider, sometimes, photos and drawings "upside down", read the words in reverse;

- develop critical thinking in yourself;

- become a positive person;

- try yourself in any kind of creativity: painting, music, sculpture, or choose a hobby;

- try to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, go barefoot;

- take care of a good sleep;

- change your taste in clothes;

- watch films of different genres;

- be more in nature;

- develop vocabulary.

The human brain is a unique organ that is being studied by scientists around the world. Undoubtedly, these studies will be of great benefit to mankind, but each person is able to independently increase the capabilities of his brain - and this, perhaps, is the main secret.
