A Polish emigrant was hit by a car on the second day after receiving US citizenship. Maciej spent three years in a coma, underwent several open heart surgeries and finally came to his senses. It took him another year of mental rehabilitation: all this time, the unfortunate man felt as if he had fallen into a huge blender, endlessly grinding his body to pieces.

All this time, Adrian was fighting on an alien planet, fighting for power with some four-armed and winged creatures. Waking up, the guy assured the doctors for a long time that he urgently needed to return and end the battle.

One of the most curious experiences was that of the Chinese worker Zhou. For 18 months in a coma, he had a very vivid, long and detailed dream of working as a watchmaker in an 18th century Chinese fishing village. The patient now believes that he was experiencing his past life.
