Judging by the remains, the creature had an impressive size, twice the length of a human being. In addition, the animal had a huge nose, similar to a bird's beak. From the side, the head of an unidentified object resembles one of the representatives of ancient dinosaurs - such an opinion was expressed by the inhabitants.
However, after a while, a version spread on social networks that the found remains could well belong to the Indian Ganges dolphin. This mammal has a lunate long body, a long narrow beak-shaped nose and a frontal protrusion. Indeed, if we compare the photographs of the dolphin and the finds on the shore in Shakhtersk, we can see a great similarity in everything, including in size.
The only doubt is the animal's tail. It has a hairline that looks like a long coat. Some eyewitnesses say that this is just adhered seaweed, while others claim that the tail is covered with wool.
“Probably, our summer is so cold that even Indian dolphins, getting into local waters, get covered with fur,” one of the residents joked.
