Psychoanalysts note: over the past 20 years, the craving of people for extreme hobbies has increased several times. In this way, some hope to get rid of the stress inherent in citizens of bourgeois states with pronounced social inequality. Others - just to get a dose of adrenaline, which is lacking in everyday life. This is why many people prefer breathtaking adventures to serene relaxation. Well, let's give some tips on where to go for the thrill.

MONCHALOVSKY FOREST: voices from the other world

In September last year, 12 mushroom pickers went missing in the Tver region. They disappeared near Rzhev in the famous Monchalovsky forest, about which strange things have long been told.

The inhabitants of the surrounding villages claim: in the dense thickets, the echo of a distant war is still heard. Explosions thunder at night, machine-gun bursts are heard, groans of the wounded are heard. Archaeologists find weapons, shells, and soldiers' flasks in ravines and ditches, on which no trace of rust is noticeable. The hunters chatter as if even in the 80s they met Red Army soldiers in the forest who asked to send letters to their relatives.

A certain medium explained the miracles by the fact that during the war there allegedly happened … a shift in time and there is a passage in the forest through which people enter another dimension!

“One of our girls got lost a few meters from the camp,” recalls Sergei Zvyagin, head of the SV Search historical research club. “We searched for her all night, and when we found her, she said that she followed someone's voice and got lost.

LAKE BAIKAL: giant ice circles

The cone-shaped billowing ice is one of the mysteries of the deepest lake on the planet: nowhere in the world does water freeze like that. The indigenous people are sure that the spirits of Baikal are playing pranks.

“The lake and the adjacent territory are one large anomalous zone, where unusual phenomena are constantly noted,” says ufologist Vladimir Kukolnikov and gives many such examples.

For example, in the western part of Lake Baikal the weather often and dramatically changes, aviation and ship instruments fail, strange glow is recorded, objects of bizarre shape appear. In 1987, a resident of the village of Shida saw a flying object in the sky, around the perimeter of which bright yellow lights were shining, and a purple ray emerged from the center. Three years later, exactly the same UFO was noticed by residents of the village of Kudara-Somon on the other side of the lake. The eyewitness testimony coincided one hundred percent. And circles with a diameter of several kilometers, appearing in winter on the icy surface of Lake Baikal, are noted even in images from space.

CHEGEM GORGE: cave of giants

Residents of Kabardino-Balkaria are sure that time slows down here. Tourists who have visited the Chegem Gorge testify that it is worth spending more than a day there, the hours begin to lag greatly. Perhaps for this reason there are so many centenarians in Kabardino-Balkaria?

Those places also hide another secret: once in one of the caves, shepherds discovered skeletons more than two meters long. According to historians, these giants were mentioned in the archives of the time of Catherine II. According to the documents, the empress sent a clerk to the Caucasus to find out where the mysterious cave is. But the locals flatly refused to disturb the graves of the ancient inhabitants of the Chegem Gorge. According to legend, it was these giants who knew the secret of longevity and knew how to slow down the passage of time.

“The energy of the Earth is concentrated in the Chegem Gorge,” says researcher Artem Zadikyan. - It passes through all layers and, breaking out, affects the environment. There is not only a special gravitational field, but also an electric one, with which miracles are associated with stopping time.

MEDVEDITSKAYA RIDGE: the secret of the tunnels

The chain of hills in the Saratov and Volgograd regions is called the strongest anomalous zone in Russia and the place where lightning lives: it is there that a record number of discharges per unit of time is recorded. Eyewitnesses watched as fireballs burned through thick tree trunks. Local birches and lindens stand without leaves, and their trunks are twisted and burned. By the way, in 1990 a shepherd broke out and burned here in an instant, and in August 1993, an amateur ufologist from the Krasnodar Territory literally disappeared. A crater formed at the place where he was last seen. Investigation of the mysterious incident has led nowhere.

The unprecedented thunderstorm activity has a scientific explanation.

- Ball lightning pulls iron deposits close to the surface to the ground. Iron is the best conductor of electricity, - explains engineer-physicist Alexey Zolotarev.

Local mountains hide another mystery - many kilometers of underground tunnels. A number of experts consider them to be man-made: each of the labyrinths has a clear geometry that is not inherent in natural objects. Scientists are investigating one of the tunnels, but the passage leads so deep that it has not yet been possible to descend into it.

CATUARIAN TRIANGLE: Yeti Tricks

The forest between the village of Bely Rast and the Katuar and Lugovaya railway stations in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region is notorious among the initiates: it is nowhere easier to get lost there. Ufologists have repeatedly tried to uncover the secret of the so-called Catuar Triangle, but the technique always failed during the research: infrared scanners did not turn on, and the compass needle turned in different directions. In addition, people had the feeling that someone was watching them. In 1997, we managed to shoot bright lights with a camera, which first illuminated the forest, and then soared into the sky and disappeared. Locals believe that the yeti is playing tricks. Some say that they even met him, others heard about him from one of their ancestors. Experts do not deny this probability:

“Bigfoot has a unique ability to adapt to the environment,” explains Doctor of Biological Sciences Valentin Sapunov. - He has psychic abilities, which allows him to avoid unwanted contact.

The majority of experts are sure: the reason for the unusual phenomena is a tectonic fault in the region of the Catuar Triangle. Cracks in the earth's crust lead to anomalies, which negatively affects the well-being of people and animals, confuses, and interferes with orientation in space.
