In the comparatively recent Soviet past, we were taught that man descended from ape and that there is no life after death. There was a man and died, and nothing more remained of him. This version has always been embarrassing, since very few people will be satisfied with such an ending. Although subconsciously everyone understood that this could not be. Today even scientists doubt the veracity of this version and there are quite objective reasons for this. The fact that the human essence is in fact immortal and only changes its physical form after another death was asserted in many ancient cultures. In Hinduism, which is one of the most ancient religions, reincarnation, that is, the transmigration of souls, is preached to this day.

It is no longer necessary to prove that the soul exists, since in addition to the Bible and similar sources, the existence of the astral body has been proven by practical experiments. The weight of the soul is about two grams, this is how the total body weight decreases after death. What happens next? The stories of those who survived clinical death, but were brought back to life by the efforts of doctors, often consist of memories of a tunnel with light at the end, singing of angels and positive energy. Skeptics of this scenario give their arguments in favor of the absence of any spiritual principle, but how then to explain the cases of déjà vu?
Many people often have the feeling that they were once in this situation, and not even in this life. These can be just memories inspired by a dream or some kind of situation, although a person cannot understand where he knows the location of objects from, and why he is drawn to a certain area?
It turns out that the Hindu, as well as the Tibetan religions are really right, in that the human soul is constantly in motion between the worlds. After death, she ends up in the other world, but what exactly happens there, so far no one undertakes to explain. Many people are sure that souls then fall back into this world and in another physical shell. Documentary evidence of such cases, when people got access to memories from a past life, date back even to the nineteenth and earlier centuries. For example, European doctors of that time reflected in their documents that they received patients telling similar stories.
So, the personal physician of one English lord of the middle of the nineteenth century, in his diary noted that in a conversation with the owner of the estate, he mentioned the strange visions of his wife. According to him, while walking through their ancestral park, she said that large ponds with fountains were once laid out in the place of flowering flower beds. Of course, at first this story was perceived as a joke, especially since even the oldest workers of the estate did not remember such an arrangement. However, having found an old plan two hundred years ago, the lord was still convinced of the correctness of his wife. In the drawings, ponds were identified and detailed descriptions were provided.
This incident suggests that the human soul not only retains memories from a past life, but next time finds itself in a completely different time and place. The lord's wife, who used to be, most likely, one of the servants, later ended up there, but this is rather an exception.

Already in our time, researching such phenomena, scientists collect statistics, following the geography of the movement of souls. We have to do a lot of work to establish the facts of the life of a person, guided by the words of an eyewitness who allegedly in a past life was this person and lived in a specific area. If the archives contain data about such a person, or even there may be living witnesses who knew him during his lifetime, it turns out that you can trace not only the movement, but also determine the time interval between death and the return of the soul, but already in another body.

Of course, such data is not a basis for the assertion that all souls are assigned to a specific territory. With regard to the time interval between death and new birth, the researchers concluded that a newly deceased person is born only in the future, although there were earlier assumptions about the possibility of a temporary transition to the past. It is possible that the delay of different magnitude is associated with some processes of preparing the soul for the future new life. As you know, the Bible lacks such a concept as purgatory or circles of trials that the soul needs to go through. The reason is the actions performed during life and, accordingly, the balance of good and bad, that is, speaking in biblical language - the sins that each of the people has.
Depending on their severity, the soul is purified, which takes different time, although this concept is completely absent in the other world. Someone lingers here for a short time, while someone has to go through all the circles and not only in purgatory. In the same way as the hard disk of a computer is formatted in order to optimize the work, and then the operating system is loaded, the astral body is also prepared for the next journey. Those who in a previous life showed themselves in the worst quality, as components that cannot be repaired, may simply be deprived of the right to a new life, or, simply put, exiled to hell.
Where is the soul?
The memories we carry from a past life are similar to badly erased files on a computer's hard drive, fragments of which, even after formatting, are sometimes found by the newly installed system. Since the brain is responsible for storing information in the human body, it is also the keeper of the astral body. After the death of a person, the brain continues to live for some time. Most likely, during this period, all information accumulated during the lifetime is transmitted. It is assumed that such a peculiar place for storing the entire amount of data, or, as they say now, a remote server, is our universe. Since it is still expanding, and most likely this will happen endlessly, then the movement of souls from one body to another will also occur endlessly.
We can say that death is not the tragic end of the living, as it is customary to present it in ordinary life. This is just a transition from one state to another, which by the way is confirmed by the Bible itself. In religion, it is constantly mentioned that a person simply passes into another and more elevated state, so you should not be so worried about him, but on the contrary, you should rejoice. In the pre-Christian period, when humanity worshiped pagan gods, funerals were always celebrated as a solemn and joyful event. Subsequently, this tradition disappeared, but the interpretation itself remained, although among some peoples professing Eastern Christianity, funeral and commemoration rites are still held in a festive atmosphere, in particular among the Gypsies and Greeks.
An indirect proof of the redirection of the soul back to earth is the fact that the dead eventually stop dreaming, or this happens extremely rarely. Everyone was faced with the fact that after the funeral, those who died always come in dreams, trying to convey some information. In the house, there may even be signs of their presence, but after a while, all this passes, although some people see their deceased relatives in their dreams all the time. Most likely, this speaks of the constant presence of the soul in the other world, that is, for some reason it is not released into this world.
This area of research is always at the intersection of science and religion, therefore, when exploring such phenomena, one has to simultaneously use both a scientific approach and cult sources of information like the Bible. It is possible that over time, humanity will receive an answer to all questions regarding the world order, including about eternal life, however, when exactly this will happen, scientists are not yet able to say.
