UFOs and ufology are again relevant, despite the fact that they have never gone out of fashion
This may not be an ordinary UFO story at all, with the usual epilogue, which says that we become eyewitnesses and witnesses of incomprehensible phenomena. Three of these people stated that they were of sound mind and memory. In addition, if their condition did not meet the safety requirements of the flight, then none of them would be on board the helicopter, the newspaper writes. These are three military, moreover, acting, in other words, people who are subject to regular medical checks: their history, at least, should be considered more carefully than the stories of more impressionable people, which were many in the entire history of UFO sightings. … But this always remained a mystery. More or less serious, difficult to figure out.
Prior to the facts in Wales, UFO sightings again occurred in Phoenix (a historical area where flying saucers and balloons are often observed), and busy hours aboard the shuttle Discovery when a beam of light began to pursue the ship (NASA later reassured the astronauts: it was a detached from the ship). Finally, and above all, we can talk about the steps of governments, which more often than before, began to remove the "secret" cipher from X-files concerning this problem: in June this year it was the turn of Great Britain, and during this year France opened its archives and Ecuador.
The dossier is opened in stages. England has released eight dossiers, with the rest to be seen. The most interesting, it seems, are the documents relating to the KGB reports (127 pages of paranormal records) and the testimony that came from Ecuador.
With regard to 44 declassified cases, Officer William Salgago claims without a shadow of doubt that "we are talking about aircraft of extraterrestrial origin in our atmosphere and that we must share our space with representatives of other worlds."
But why is it now that governments are opening dossiers? “The UFO phenomenon is widespread: an answer is required,” explains Enrico Baccarini, head of the Italian National UFO Center. - Investigations and research conducted by governments over the decades have raised more questions than answers. All this, together with the endless requests of ordinary citizens and various organizations, led to the fact that the authorities were forced to unblock some of their own archives. " It remains to be seen whether this decision is related to the expediency of preparing people or whether these steps are aimed at ending secrecy, since there is nothing serious or alarming. This last thesis was used in the case of the discovery of the English "X-Files".
“The theory of adaptation to the phenomenon,” the National Ufological Center comments, “is being implemented against the backdrop of the belief that not all governments have fully revealed their secrets. State secrets, coupled with the danger of possible culture shock, force us to act with caution when disclosing information.” Meanwhile, there is a growing desire in the world to see UFOs, to meet aliens. And this interest, according to Baccarini, is explained not only and not so much by the impressive nature of the phenomenon, “as by the fact that the confidence that life is not the exclusive monopoly of the Earth is being strengthened. Even the Vatican allowed such a possibility ("You can believe in God and in aliens," - said astronomer-theologian Jose Gabriele Funes), and the latest discoveries made by probes prove the existence of bacterial life forms on Mars; finally, the discovery of planets,outside the solar system, similar to ours, proves the non-unique nature of the solar system in which we are."
Why should we be alone in the universe? - asks the Ufology Center. “More than 60 years of observations in the sky by military pilots, government officials, scientists, ordinary citizens indicate,” says Baccarini, “that the phenomenon exists. It was studied by dozens of government commissions, never being able to classify this phenomenon, without making a conclusion about the origin of these phenomena: terrestrial or extraterrestrial. Even the Air Force has its own department, which is engaged in statistical research of this phenomenon. The reality is that the UFO phenomenon exists and is of interest to representatives of various strata, both government circles and those who study anomalous phenomena."

In 2005, former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellier spoke at a conference in Toronto: recalling that he took part in NATO meetings from 1963 to 1967, he stated that since 1947 (when pilot Kenneth Arnold reported that he collided with a whole a group of flying saucers - the episode took place shortly before the incident in Roswell and the notorious discovery of a spaceship that crashed on the ground) UFOs fly in our sky completely free. And not only that: the desire of the United States to return to the moon by 2020 should probably be linked to the need to create a base that would allow protecting the Earth from intergalactic attacks.
“The evidence that there are unknown objects in our sky,” says Baccarini, “is irrefutable. Back in the 4th century A. D. e. Latin writer Julius Obsequens (author of the Book of Miraculous Phenomena, a collection of various signs and omens. - Ed.) wrote about the “fire shields” that appeared in the sky during the ancient Roman Empire. UFOs, therefore, appeared earlier than we think, and history itself confirms this reality. Today the obviousness of the phenomenon is no longer discussed, its nature or the possibility of negative consequences of a social, cultural or technical nature is being discussed."
