Podgoretsky castle

The ghost was seen by the patients of the tuberculosis sanatorium, which was here in Soviet times, the watchmen and employees of the castle. A family of Polish landowners who lived within the castle walls even recorded their memories of the ghost.
According to legend, the soul of the murdered young wife of Wenceslas Rzewuski Maria is wandering around the castle. Because of jealousy, he killed his young beloved with his own hands, and immured her body within the walls of the palace.
