A family living in Scottish Borders, Scotland, has posted an advertisement looking for a nanny for their two children. At the same time, the ad honestly states that it is in the house. where the family lives, ghosts live.
The ad was posted on the UK's largest childcare recruitment site Childcare.co.uk. Caring for two children, ages 5 and 7, costs £ 50,000 (over US $ 60,000 per year) when living in what its owners describe as "a cute, spacious historic building with great views," according to the Telegraph.
At the same time, the tenants report that they have lived in this house for ten years. Before buying, they were warned that ghosts were allegedly found in the house, but the spouses decided to buy it anyway. Over the years, five nannies have worked in the family, but they all left, and each of them named “supernatural” phenomena in the house as a reason for refusing to work - strange sounds, broken glass, moving furniture, and so on. At the same time, the owners of the house themselves have never observed anything unusual when they were inside.
Childcare.co.uk CEO Richard Conway has confirmed that the announcement is genuine and hopes that someone on the site will be willing to take up the proposed position. According to him, representatives of the family claim that no one has suffered from supernatural phenomena in the house.
