Was Anna-Elizabeth possessed by dark forces or had mental disorders? There is no answer to this question to this day.
The heroine of this article was born in 1952 in a small village in Bavaria in a large Catholic family. Excessive piety reflected on the perception of life and the world around her - the girl unquestioningly celebrated all church holidays, attended services several times a week, and also strove for excessive work and servility.
The first "attack" occurred in 1968 when Anna-Elizabeth bit her tongue in spasms. After this situation, her detachment from the world was noticeably manifested, and she herself complained of her inner emptiness. About a year later, real nightmares began to occur - the girl's body became hard and lost flexibility, and due to the fact that something inexplicable pressed on her chest, she could not speak. Such situations did not occur on a regular basis, but happened periodically, giving time to take a breath.
In 1969, Anna-Elizabeth woke up from an incipient "attack" - she felt short of breath, and her body stopped responding to brain signals - she was paralyzed. The family decided to invite a doctor, who sent the patient to a psychotherapist. According to the results of the examination, no abnormalities were revealed, however, tuberculosis was detected, and therefore the girl was sent to a medical facility for inpatient treatment. There she had another "attack", but a second examination again revealed nothing, and Anna-Elizabeth was nevertheless prescribed psychotropic medications.
After a while, the girl began to complain that the faces of demons appeared to her, and she also hears an inexplicable knock. Later, her sisters began to talk about this. Medical examinations using the latest technology continued to show that Anna-Elizabeth was completely healthy.
After four years of intensive medication therapy, the girl's condition has not changed in any way. After the family communicated with representatives of the church, it was decided to send the possessed one to a specialist who expelled dark forces, which became Ernst Alt.
By that time, the situation was at its breaking point - Anna-Elizabeth was greatly emaciated, her health was deteriorating, and she herself said that she was at the mercy of six demons: Lucifer, Cain, Judas Iscariot, Nero, Fleishman, and also another, whose name is so and failed to decrypt.

In total, over 60 exorcisms were performed. During the manipulations to expel the dark forces, the girl made inhuman sounds, cursed, and in order to keep her on the bed, she had to use chains. However, in between sessions, she again became an ordinary girl. About 40 ceremonies were recorded on film, some of which were even attended by doctors.
Anna-Elizabeth died on June 30, 1975 from severe pneumonia. Before her death, she weighed 31 kg. After the death of the girl, there was a series of conflicts and popular unrest, after which a trial of exorcist priests was held with an indictment.
