A group of researchers from the Max Planck Institute and the University of Tübingen managed to reconstruct the genome of ancient Egyptian mummies up to 3500 thousand years old. The results of the work call into question everything that we knew before about the rulers of Egypt.
It turned out that the ancient Egyptians were not at all representatives of African peoples.
For the most part, Egypt was inhabited by the Turks (southern Europe) and residents of the territories where Israel, Lebanon, Georgia and Abkhazia are now located. In fact, there were almost no Africans among them.
Moreover, the population of the ancient Egyptians did not undergo any serious genetic changes, remaining protected from the invasions of foreign invaders.
The study was also confirmed by scientists from Zurich, who took DNA analysis from the mummy of Tutankhamun. It turned out that he was completely European - similar genes are present in the French, Spanish and British.

But the modern Egyptians have a completely different genetic structure. Thus, it turns out that the ancestors of the ancient Egyptians and Europeans were alone and once upon a time migrated from the Caucasus, even reaching Egypt. It turns out that the modern population of Egypt is simply ridiculous to be proud of kinship with the pharaohs.
