Who are these energy vampires? To answer this question, we will have to move from the field of exact science to the field of esotericism, where the term "energetic vampirism" refers to such relationships between people in which one person takes away the life force from another. The concept of "life force" exists among many peoples: the Chinese call it qi, the Japanese call it ki, Indian yogis call it prana, the Europeans call it biofield … But what is it?

According to the apologists of esoteric philosophy, the biological life of the human body is supported in various ways, but among them there are three main ones: two visible ones are nutrition and respiration, and the third is a hidden source of subtle energies, the accumulator of which is the human soul and his heart. Breathing and nutrition support the body's work on a physical level, but the strength of life is not given to it.
The main source of vitality, energy of health and longevity is the spiritual world of a person. It is built on the energy of joy, love, wisdom, which cannot be touched, weighed, measured, but without which a person will not have a full life. Some will draw vitality from nature, space, using spiritual studies and practices. When people cannot naturally replenish their reserves of vital energy, receiving it through pure feelings of love, joy and wisdom, they begin to feed on the strength of other representatives of homo sapiens. These people are energy vampires, because psychic energy is the same blood, only of a different level. And its loss instantly affects human health - it is rapidly deteriorating.
At home - alone, at work - others
Every person goes through the stage of vampirism, according to esotericists, but some learn to get out of it, filling their souls with love and joy, and after that rise from the darkness to the sun, while others feed on the feelings of others until their death. And their life is terrible: they spend it using only coarse energy, not even suspecting the existence of more pure and subtle energies.
Astrology divides all people, regardless of which zodiac sign they were born under, into solar and lunar. The same division is used by esoteric specialists when it comes to energy vampires.
These two categories are strikingly different from each other.
Solar vampires are cruel and selfish people, they always choose their own donor victim. Communicating with her, they provoke scandals and quarrels, causing mental pain in a person. Moreover, they act, as they say, head-on, insulting the victim and causing her an outburst of indignation. A solar vampire can instantly "suck" energy from a donor - until it is completely exhausted. Moon vampires are the opposite of solar vampires. These are people who draw energy from the victim imperceptibly, quietly. Such a person never enters into open conflicts with others, but in his heart he envies everyone, considers himself an underestimated genius, a victim of circumstances, which he informs everyone and everyone. Communication with the lunar vampire leads to a breakdown, vitality decreases, a sore throat, and yawning occurs.
A sharp and vicious moon vampire can only be with close people - in this case, outsiders simply would not recognize him. At work, he curses up with everyone, trying to give the impression of a polite person. In general, all vampires, no matter what "breed" they belong to, are characterized by duplicity. At home they are alone, at work and in society - completely different.
Nagging won't end
Any person can be a vampire - solar or lunar. You can even meet with those who drain strength in your own family. The main distinguishing feature of a vampire is his selfishness, he is not able to enjoy life. The family vampire is always aggressive and gives the household an energy shake every day. An important indicator in this case is jealousy. Jealousy is by no means a manifestation of love; it is a way of causing the victim to break down. During such breakdowns, the life force leaks. After recharging, the vampire will come in a good mood and will ask for forgiveness from his victim, will assure her of love, but he cannot be trusted. Soon he will need to "recharge" again, and the scenario will repeat itself.
Family "showdowns" cause irritation and resentment
Another indicator of family vampirism, esoteric experts consider the constant reproaches and nagging of one of the spouses, causing irritation and resentment in his partner. This is a difficult case, because no matter how the victim tries to please the vampire, no matter how she tries to meet his requirements, the nagging will not end, since they serve only as a pretext for absorbing vitality. Often in family relationships, mother-in-law and mother-in-law act as vampires, parents whose children grow up and become independent, wives who suffer from a lack of impressions and inattention from a husband.

And the victim will come to work squeezed like a lemon and will not be able to recover for a long time.
Vampires can be waiting for you at work, very often they are the boss. Usually he keeps the whole team in awe, arranges meetings once a week, at which each employee gets his own portion of claims and offensive words. As a rule, such a leader is indifferent to his subordinates and the very business in which he is engaged. The main thing for him is to keep a profitable place for a longer time. Such a boss always has a high turnover and poor performance - after all, no one can work in an environment of constant nervous shocks. Even more terrible is the boss who arranges not weekly, but daily "five minutes of hate." They are afraid of such people, they try to get rid of them as soon as possible.
Fighting a vampire boss is difficult, but not impossible. For example, try not to react to his rudeness and just smile - you will see, he will become furious, because you did not allow him to recharge at your expense. But to behave like that, you have to be a very strong person. And does the work match the price you pay for it? It's not about your salary, it's about your health. If health is more dear to you, quit urgently and look for another boss.

Energy leakage can occur not only through direct contact, but also, for example, by telephone. As a rule, a telephone vampire does not share joy with the interlocutor, but throws out his problems on him. It can be a relative, an acquaintance, a friend who always calls at the wrong time, distracts from important matters and takes a lot of time. Senseless conversations with such an interlocutor always cause irritation, and this is what a vampire needs, because just at this moment your energy begins to flow to him.
A vampire can "refuel" energy even over the phone
Our neighbors are often vampires too. Lunar under various pretexts impose on friends, strive to come to you for tea, begin to conduct empty conversations, give unnecessary gifts and offer help that they do not ask for, but never invite. Specialists in esotericism give a lot of advice on this matter, but they will all help little to someone who does not know how to live in balance with himself, nature and the world around him. You can, of course, learn to create energy protective screens around yourself, but this will not solve the problem. For only good can overcome evil.

The world is firmly "hooked" on the vampire theme. Books, films and television series about vampires are very popular with viewers. One gets the impression that mankind throughout its development exists side by side with another world inhabited by vampires and werewolves. In this regard, we will try to recreate some kind of alternative history. Let's take on faith the claim that vampires and werewolves do exist, but let's “humanize” them. Let's agree that representatives of the other world are unlikely to possess those magical properties that are attributed to them.
Imagine that vampires and werewolves are the same people who die not from silver bullets and sunlight, but from diseases and conventional weapons.
They do not turn into wolves or bats, but the only thing they can. - this is to put a haze on others. Vampires manage to inspire people that they can transform into animals. Suppose that the main difference between some representatives of the mysterious world from others is that vampires thirst for our blood, and werewolves thirst for flesh.
But at the same time, they learned to skillfully hide their essence and created some influential secret societies.
Legends and myths
The other world, like the usual, has its own mythological base. For example, it is reflected in the myths of Ancient Greece. They even had a werewolf god - the handsome Apollo. The great Homer in the Iliad calls him born of a she-wolf. And the progenitor of the wolf people was considered the first king of Arcadia, Lycaon. Somehow he dared to make a cruel joke on Zeus, treating him with human meat. Upon learning of this, the thunderer became angry and turned Lycaon into a wolf, and destroyed about fifty of his children, saving the life of only the youngest. Surprisingly, the Arcadians revered Lycaon and organized magnificent festivities in his honor - Lycaia.

If we take as a basis not ancient Greek myths, but biblical legends, then for humanity in general it becomes scary. The first person born on Earth, as you know, was the fratricide Cain. And they say that it was he who was the first vampire. According to legend, when God sent Cain into eternal wandering as punishment for the murder of Abel, he was found by the first wife of Adam Lilith, who by that time had become an evil demon killing babies. It was she who turned Cain into a vampire. He built the first city on Earth inhabited by humans and vampires. The city was destroyed by angels, but 13 of Cain's grandchildren, who are called Patriarchs, continued the "bloody" work of their grandfather and formed their own vampire clans, operating all over the world and influencing world politics.
Ancient world
According to legend, vampires presented to Alexander the Great with a kind of magic ring, thanks to which he conquered half the world. But I would not like to belittle the military leadership talent of Alexander the Great and attribute his victories to magic.
However, it seems that vampires and werewolves did play a prominent role in the Ancient World, and its history is largely tied to the war between these creatures. In some countries, vampires ruled, in others werewolves. And then these countries began to fight against each other.
But at the same time, it seems that vampires and werewolves often lived and clashed within the same state.
It can be assumed that the creation of the Roman Republic was not without the participation of werewolves. As you know, the founders of Rome Romulus and Remus were fed by a she-wolf. And at the foot of the Palatine Hill, where, according to legend, she fed them, Lupercalia (from the Latin lupus - "wolf") festivities were held every year. Perhaps the Roman army became the strongest in the world thanks to werewolves. Some of the most respected legionnaires were the Signifers, the most experienced warriors who carried the Signum - the sign of the Legion or Cohort. They even received double pay. And they had a tradition to wear wolf skins over their helmets. And according to magical practices, to turn a person into a werewolf, you just need to apply a special ointment to the body and throw on a wolf's skin. Imagine the horror experienced by the enemy when the Signifer in wolf's clothing burst into his ranks,and behind him the legionnaires rushed furiously.
However, as the borders expanded, other cultures and customs began to penetrate into the republic. In Rome, a belief in lamias, empousses and lemurs (as they called bloodsucking ghosts) took root. During the period of the empire, vampires had already infiltrated power. They even recruited the Emperor Tiberius into their ranks. It is said that his favorite pastime was nighttime orgies, during which he gnawed the arteries of young girls and sucked blood out of them. From her, according to the testimony of contemporaries, Tiberius got drunk more than from wine. By the end of the reign, the emperor's thirst for blood was so great that in the morning and at night he drank a half-liter cup with a cocktail of human milk and girls' blood.
Who ruled the ball?
Thus, two powerful coalitions have developed in the world. The two most advanced ancient states - Egypt and Rome - were at the mercy of the vampires, but in much of Europe, inhabited by the so-called barbarian tribes, werewolves clearly ruled the ball. Herodotus wrote about a certain Northern European tribe, whose members turned into wolves for several days every year.
Germanic warriors wore wolf skins and were incredibly ferocious
Germanic wolf warriors, according to legend, were so fierce that they did not need weapons and killed enemies with their shields. The Viking god Odin was the type of a werewolf. He was even portrayed in a wolf mask feeding two sacred wolves on a throne under the world tree. Werewolves could well have been the legendary berserkers of the Vikings - desperate warriors who fought without armor. Sometimes they were also called "ulfhednars", that is, "wolf-heads". The Scandinavian "Saga of the Ynglings" quite vividly describes the rampage of the berserkers, who before the battle gnawed at their shields and growled like wolves with impatience. And in battle, they continued to fight, even losing a leg or an arm. To emphasize their bestial nature, berserkers practiced ritual cannibalism, which further enhances their resemblance to werewolves.
In the end, Rome could not resist and fell under the raids of the barbarians. And later the Vikings conquered France and England. And werewolves got the upper hand on Earth. But the confrontation between vampires and werewolves did not stop. Perhaps, at some time, the Eastern Roman Empire became its epicenter, where Byzantine vampires tried to resist the invasions of werewolves who served in the ancient Russian squads. In Russian epics and legends, there are many characters who knew how to turn into animals, including wolves. We can recall the epic hero Volga Svyatoslavich. And in "The Lay of Igor's Regiment" tells about a real character - the Polotsk prince Vseslav Bryachislavich from Rurikovich. At night, the prince turned into a wolf. Perhaps it was supernatural abilities that allowed Vseslav to reign in Polotsk for 57 years. True, in history he was more remembered by thosethat he captured Novgorod, where he removed the bells from the St. Sophia Cathedral and took them to him in Polotsk.
Middle Ages
The war between vampires and werewolves died down when the Inquisition took up arms against both of them in the Middle Ages. After thousands of representatives of the other world were burned at the stake, the survivors chose to go into the shadows and no longer advertise their abilities. There is a version that during this period the Catholic Church began to form secret detachments of hunters for evil spirits. However, it was not possible to completely eliminate monsters in human society.
One gets the impression that especially a lot of them are divorced in France. The chronicles describe a witch who died in 1345, who turned into various animals and attacked people. When they dug up her grave, it turned out that she had swallowed the cape covering her face. The sorceress was considered a vampire and a stake was driven into her chest.

But she, apparently, turned out to be a werewolf. She continued to walk around the city at night, using this stake as a weapon. They got rid of her only when the corpse was burned. In general, in France in the XVI-XVII centuries, there was some kind of invasion of werewolves. They say that only from 1520 to 1630 in this country, 30 thousand people were executed on charges of lycanthropy (werewolf).
The world map, reflecting the settlement of vampires and werewolves, at that time was quite variegated, but at the same time one type of evil usually predominated in a particular country. There is reason to believe that the countries that were once inhabited by Vikings or their descendants became the haven of werewolves: the Scandinavian states, France, England, Iceland, Russia. Vampires settled in Eastern Europe, primarily in Wallachia (Romania), where the unforgettable Count Dracula raged, and Poland. It is no coincidence that back in 1693, a Polish priest turned to Sorbonne scientists for advice on how to deal with the bodies of vampires. And in 1746, a treatise by the French scholastic House of Calmet, "Reflections on the Appearance of Angels and Spirits, and Ghosts, and Vampires in Hungary, Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia," was published. In Asia, India was a breeding ground for vampires with the cult of the blood-sucking goddess Kali. And Japan and China,apparently, they preferred werewolves in the form of fox people.
National characteristics
In the 18th century, the authorities of East Prussia and the Habsburg monarchy began to receive complaints from the population about the attacks of vampires. And the first vampires to be officially documented were Peter Plogojowitz and Arnold Paole from Serbia. After his death in 1725, Plogozhovits visited the inhabitants of his native village of Kislovo and took seven people with him to the next world. When his grave was opened, they found that the dead man was splattered with blood. Former Gaiduk Paole said during his lifetime that he was attacked by a vampire while serving in Kosovo. Therefore, when after the death of Arnold in 1726, 16 people died in his village of the Bear, everyone decided that they had become a victim of the vampire Paole.

There is a version that, under the guise of foreign specialists, German vampires began to massively migrate to Russia under Peter I, fleeing their bounty hunters in their homeland. In 1841, the story of A. K. Tolstoy's "Ghoul", which shows the quiet existence of the 8th noble society of vampires near Moscow - Brigadier Sugrobina and State Councilor Telyaev. The people around them knew about their secret, but no one showed any particular concern.
It seems that the United States has also become a "vampire" country. In Bekmambetov's film about President Lincoln, an interesting version is put forward: vampires have taken over the business associated with the export of slaves from Africa to America. The revolutions and wars of the early 20th century did not destroy the evil spirits. They only made her smarter. Over the centuries, vampires and werewolves have learned to find a compromise between themselves and get along in the same territory. One gets the impression that they had a particularly strong alliance during the time of the Third Reich. Moreover, there was plenty of food in the form of concentration camp prisoners for those and others. The revelations of such famous bloodsucking maniacs as Peter Kurten, nicknamed the Düsseldorf vampire, and Fritz Haarmann, nicknamed the Vampire from Hanover, testify that there were many vampires in Germany before the war. They say that in Nazi Germany, vampires gained great influence in the secret services, and werewolves in the army. Even before Hitler came to power, the armed formations of the Nazis began to be called "Werewolf" ("werewolf"). And later that was the name of the Fuhrer's headquarters near Vinnitsa.
World palette
You can try to draw up a modern alternative map of the world based on criminal statistics. It seems that vampirism is firmly rooted in the Americas, and in Europe - in Germany, Italy and Poland. For example, in the same Poland, several bloodsucking maniacs became famous: Karol Kot, Stanislav Modzelewski, Julian Koltun … But the most terrible was the mysterious Vampire from Zaglebie. It was rumored that he intended to kill a thousand women to commemorate Poland's millennium. For his crimes in 1975, Zdzislav and Jan Markhwicki were sentenced to death.
One gets the impression that nowadays vampires and werewolves act in conjunction. And various sects and criminal communities became their nests. It is no coincidence that the tradition of blood oaths has long been rooted in the Sicilian Cosa Nostra and the Japanese yakuza. Thus, initiates of the yakuza had to drink blood from a bowl in front of the Shinto altar.
But even more vividly brutal addiction manifested itself in the Neapolitan Camorra mafia. Back in 1820, the so-called Neapolitan Revolution took place, led by the rural priest from Calabria Rinaldi and the head of the Camorra Gaetano Mammon. According to Alexandre Dumas and the Italian authors, from whose notes he drew facts, these two embodied the union of a werewolf and a vampire: “Rinaldi ate half-baked flesh; Mammon drank blood straight from his wounds."
