A student at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, USA, on the evening of September 18, 2016, tried to make contact with a very bright silver ball, which he was watching from the window of his house (see video below).
“Currently, I study at the university in two departments - physics and mechanics, - said an eyewitness on September 27 in his statement to the World UFO Network (MUFON), - and usually try to rationally approach things before drawing any conclusions. Therefore, I can say for sure that I saw a UFO, and not a ball lightning, dust particles or an insect."
The student was doing his term paper on statics, out of the corner of his eye he noticed the movement of a bright dot and heard a dog barking furiously in the next house. He turned to the window and saw a very bright white and silver ball the size of a basketball.
“It was a very beautiful ball, something I have never seen or experienced. The most appropriate word I can find for him is angelic. A feeling of strength and love emanated from him, and his movement was accompanied by a slight hum."
It took the pulsing ball less than a minute to fly out of the woods that adjoin the backyard of the house, right up to the lamppost. As he approached the pole, the light of the lantern at first dimmed greatly, and then shone again. The UFO began to circle around the lantern.
The surface of the ball had a metallic sheen, and a halo of an electric or magnetic field was visible around it. It looked like the ball was trying to charge from the flashlight and gradually began to brighten.
“I was so carried away that it took me a while to get my cell phone out,” the student added. - I started taking pictures of him, and then I decided to wave my hands to get his attention. Seeing me, the ball began to move quickly from side to side, and then suddenly disappeared instantly."
An eyewitness provided the original video to MUFON with the hope of hearing the opinion of authoritative experts about it.
