Russian doctors save a baby from Novorossiysk, who was born with a rare anomaly

When the parents of the newborn saw that the baby's heart was outside, and not inside, they experienced a real shock. But it soon became clear that the girl could live, she just needed special medical attention. Doctors of the Children's City Hospital No. 1 of Novorossiysk do not hide the fact that they faced such a case for the first time. Specialists cannot even name the child's diagnosis.
“For 15 years of practice, I see such a pathology for the first time,” Dmitry Noskov, head of the anesthesiology and intensive care unit of the children's city hospital No. 1, told Life News. - I looked up all the medical literature and searched the entire Internet, but I did not find anything like it. We contacted the Bakulev Center, they explained to us that there are only a few such patients all over the world. And, accordingly, everyone needs individual treatment.
The first operation was performed at the Bakulev Scientific Center in Moscow. It was successful. It will be possible to do the second only after two years - the baby's heart may not withstand the anesthesia. In the meantime, Bathsheba needs constant medication.
“We tried to stop taking medications,” says the girl’s mother Darya Mikhitaryants to Life News. - But then we ended up in the hospital. My daughter began to choke, it even seemed to me that her heart had stopped beating.
The family has no money for expensive medicines that Bathsheba needs. The necessary drugs are not included in the list of vital drugs approved by the Russian Government. The latest crisis showed that the treatment should be continued for another seven months. For this, the family urgently needs a million rubles. Otherwise, the girl's heart may stop at any moment.
