A resident of the tiny town of St. Joe, located in northern Arkansas, reported a bright UFO that moved from south to north in the western sky for about 20 minutes on the evening of October 1, 2017.
Sitting on the south porch of her house, a local resident noticed a large luminous object in the west that was slowly moving behind the trees.
“At first glance, he was the size of two planets, and that made me watch him for a few minutes,” wrote the woman in her report, who decided to return to the house for her camera. - At first I thought it was Jupiter or Venus. Several weeks ago I was able to catch the moons of Jupiter."
However, the object moved in a completely different way from an ordinary planet. He stopped, made short movements in all directions, and flew north again.
“This is definitely not a planet, and this is very strange,” said the woman's husband, who, according to her, was always skeptical of UFOs.
It took a while for the observer, who takes photographs of planes, landscapes and animals, to stabilize her camera, so she managed to take a few photos before the UFO disappeared behind a line of trees to the north.
Later, when she opened Stellarium on her computer, which shows a realistic 3D map of the night sky, a resident of St. Joe discovered that no planet could be so bright.
