Video: How the Ancients Cut Stone with Sound - Lost High Technology Explained | Ancient Architects 2024, May

Already what versions of stone processing in ancient times were not put forward. Well, megaliths and other giant buildings of antiquity do not give many people, including me, peace.

All options and versions for the technology of erecting pyramids, columns, obelisks and walls with polygonal masonry rest on the same question - how was this done? Where are the tools?

Official historians say that the ancients simply hammered the granite with chisels or sawed it with copper saws, or chipped off blocks with wedges, and polished with stone balls. Archaeologists also found sand near the pyramids in Africa - this is "sawdust and shavings" after processing stone blocks. There were a lot of blocks and waste in the form of sand also dofig and more, that's why deserts appeared … Just kidding, of course. Although xs where there is so much sand on the planet … At one time I worked on grinding stone and we constantly had dust and "sand" after cutting and grinding granite and marble, which were stupidly thrown out behind the shop. As a result, it turned out in a couple of years a sickly bunch, which was jokingly nicknamed the dune.

So where are the tools of the ancient masters ?

I do not hide that this question really pisses me off. For some reason, the officials decided that the tool should be located somewhere near the construction site of ancient objects. A very, very strange version. They found, of course, nearby, primitive digging sticks, some fragments of rods and saws. And on the basis of these findings, they concluded that these "sticks" were patiently hammering huge blocks … Come on!

Around modern construction sites, the trash is also full of broken shovels and drills from perforators, "killed" crooked levels, disposable spatulas, as well as bent nails, bottles and other debris. Construction waste is thrown out and buried under the next construction site or simply rolled under the asphalt. Not a single normal builder will throw out a hammer drill, welding machine, level or screwdriver next to a future building. Moreover, they do not bury a bulldozer, an excavator or a tower crane complete with a concrete truck nearby!

And what will archaeologists and future historians think of modern builders? Karl, they will dig out a broken spatula, a bent shovel and decide that a skyscraper made of monolithic concrete was "scratched" with this very spatula and shovel !!!

Awesome logic!

But back to the tools of the past, or rather, where they are. We look at the statues and pictures of ancient India. Fortunately, many statues and bas-reliefs have survived there. And we see an interesting thing in the hands of the rulers of the past.

This thing reminds me a lot of a technical device. This is the vajra.

Vajra from Sanskrit is translated in two meanings - lightning or diamond. In Tibetan, this device is called dorje - the king of stones.

Has a symbolic meaning. Like a diamond, it cuts anything, but not itself, but like lightning it has an irresistible force. The ends can be bent and unbent, depending on the purpose of use - cut like a sword or strike like lightning.

Well, everything is clear now - here is the image of the instrument, which, according to myths and legends, cut mountains and rocks. Vajra "works" in tandem with ghanta ("bell").

Interesting rituals, fixed with time for vajra and ghanta. For example, they must correspond to each other, that is, be similar in size and materials from which they are made. Their parts are made separately from different metals and then combined into a single whole. Do not put them on the ground, in dirt and dampness, and when carrying them, it is recommended to place them in special covers and cases. The standard measures for dealing with valuable instruments are in place.

And the multi-armed gods have a complete set of professional tools. "Jack of all trades" did it go from there …

In general, there are a lot of images, and all the tools of ancient masters have come down to our times in the form of ritual objects. Don't believe me? So look at the symbols of the power of various states and kingdoms.

The autocracy has the required attributes - a rod, orb and a crown. To me, our word "power" is consonant with the Tibetan "dear", but this is my personal. In general, a complete set of a professional builder is obtained - tools and a protective helmet are included. Clear. that initially all these subjects had a purely applied meaning. Then they gradually turned into beautiful symbols and ritual objects with ruffles, stones and excesses. But in general, the essence and appearance are similar to the original originals!

We watch the Greek Zeus, the lightning thrower and the thunderer.

In his left hand Zeus holds a wand with a pommel, in the right ball on which there is an angel, well, and a headdress stylized as a wreath. Again, three items in the set.

Now let's look at Hermes.

Here, in general, the profession of a high-altitude installer in all details, but stylized over time almost beyond recognition - sandals with wings, a baton with snakes and wings, a protective helmet also with wings. The sculptor was described as a specialist with tools and a helmet with boots, and the artist depicted it with words as fantasy suggested.

I hope you understand my point about the tools of the ancient builders. As a result of the "cargo cult", their real appearance turned into objects of religious or imperious cult inlaid with gold and stones. There are only statues, bas-reliefs, myths and legends about the great "Gods" who gave people knowledge and technology in the distant past.
