On a farm in the American city of Albany, Oregon, a one-year-old cat gave birth to six kittens, one of which had two faces. The local newspaper The Oregonian reports.

Farmer Kyla King's domestic cat gave birth on Wednesday morning, May 20. The woman’s attention was attracted by the cub, which was born last. The newborn's head had two muzzles. Kayla's husband, Bijay (BJ), shared the unusual news on a closed Facebook group for local residents. In less than a day, the publication collected 1.7 thousand likes and more than 800 comments.

The Kings family named the mutant kitten after the popular American breakfast dish, Biscuits and Gravy. The wife's right muzzle is called Biscuits, and the left, which turned out to be stronger, is called Gravy. But more often than not, a newborn is hailed simply by a cookie. The owners noted that both noses and mouth function in the cub.

The cookie was born with one head, a pair of mouths and noses, and four eyes due to a genetic disorder. The mutation, called diprosopia, is associated with abnormal activity in a gene for the width of the animal's face.

Some netizens have expressed a desire to adopt a rare pet. One of them is ready to pay $ 500 (35.7 thousand rubles) for the cookie. The kings admitted that they have become attached to the kitten and are not ready to part with him. Moreover, when the brothers and sisters of the Cookies get stronger, they will be put up for sale.
